Funny lovable characters. Well narrated. There were a few plot “huhs”. But it was so much fun they didn’t really matter.
Light hearted and hilarious.
A nice break from kidnapping, gunshots, angstiness, arranged marriage, billionaires with commitment issues…etc

I think it was very funny- funny than Smutty. I highly recommend if you want a light romance with humor.

How can I choose…

I loved it…I didn’t think it was possible to love it the way I do Simmi! Erreck was just as lovable and wasn’t a fluke. Amanda’s books are usually an easy click for me and she didn’t disappoint!

As always with this author and this narrator, an amazing five out of five!! This narrator should always narrate this authors books. They could never go wrong. I have loved every book Amada Milo has put out on audiobook and Nick Cracknell is awesome every time. I can not say enough about the two! A little adventure, a little sweet and a lot steamy!

She did such a good job of taking a quirky, not humanoid, alien and making him human. Such an excellent book!

I love all of Amanda Milo’s books there is not one I have read that I don’t love this was such a cute an sweet book! An I loved semi’s book which I had read first 12 bucks or so great

Love every version of this book

I read Contagion first by accident and, as suspected, I LOVED this! I'm not sure I would have loved Simmi as much had I not already read Contagion but this isn't his story so that's fine. I fell in love with Erreck and Skynan in Contaminated and wish there was even more about these characters and this world.

The plot was moved along a little suddenly around Chapter 11-12 right before a small time skip. Things could have been explored a bit more and we could have gotten to witness more of the day to day working side by side and increasingly heightened awareness of their interest and attraction to one another. We could have had more plot and some really good slowburn is what I'm saying.

We didn't, it's a shorter story, and that's still ultimately fine because I thoroughly enjoyed what we do have and adored them immensely anyway. It was funny, it was sweet, and I just want to give them both a hug and squeal with joy at their happiness.

ETA 12/10/2023: Reread by way of listening to the audiobook for the first time and still loved it. 10/10. Meant to only start the story and but ended up listening to the whole thing in one go.
