Publisher's Summary

Wife wanted: single alien dad needs a mate.

Tragedy left Merit as the guardian to two young kits, and he's in over his head. He needs help. He has no time for romance and doesn't think he needs it. He applies to Celestial Mates, willing to take the first available female, even a flat-faced, ugly human.

What he gets is a woman whose mind challenges him and whose patience humbles him.

He brought her to his planet under false pretenses. Now, he hopes he can make it right before she leaves for good.

Contains mature themes.

Great story line!

I was.expecting a shifter book but it was an earth-alien mate book. It had such a great story line and not just sex that could only love it! I can't wait for the next book in the series!

You'll Love This One

I read all the time, and always within this genre. Unfortunately, most of the books in this genre are just okay. This one has characters that are so real. The female lead could be your neighbor. The male is so kind hearted and gorgeous. The kids were so cute. The story was heartwarming. Loved the world building too! Great book!

Bride on the Prairie

If you take out the sci-fi aspects, this could be an old Western story. The bad guys are critters, the female is looking for something better, and the male has old war stories that he doesn’t wanna share. It’s a sweet romance story. I read alien romances quite a bit and one thing that often irritates me is that there’s just a little bit of story and a whole lot of sex. Even a good thing can get to be too much. This is just the opposite with a lot of story and some good sex. I loved the narrators. I noticed another reviewer did not like them at all, so I guess that’s just a matter of preference.

Laughable

Dreadfully poor performance. I will ensure that I do not purchase any book that either Stephen Dexter or Hollie Jackson is narrating. The plot is weak and silly.

MEH....

Very boring and very insta. I couldn't even finish it. Love the idea of the story but the execution was incredibly weak.
