Sweet love story

This was a little weird with no legs and all, but that's really the only difference from them being human. The men are super sweet and its a nice love story. There are some cute funny moments too.

Fascinating Story

This was my first story with this author, and I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed this book....especially the Audible version. I truly hope there are more to follow!

Loved it!

This was a great monster, romance book. The story took twist and turns I wasn’t expecting. I definitely enjoyed everything. I’m excited to listen to book 2. I’m a little bummed out at the fact that it’s just one narrator, but I’ll still listen to it. The narrators did an amazing job with this story.

Enjoyable

This was a sweet love story with a predictable plot and very imaginative world building. Writing an aquatic hybrid human creature with no legs as the hero was really brilliant. Not every author could pull that off. Hollie Jackson is not my favorite narrator. She does an amazing job in some of the other sci-fi romance series I’ve read, but lacks dynamic variation and depth in others. This audiobook was not one of her better performances. But is was a worthy effort and it was enjoyable anyway.

The colonizer arch is disturbing

Disturbing but still interesting. I didn't like how the humans treated very sentient beings as if they were rats or something similar. I would think such futuristic peoples would be better than that. It disturbed me to read it was not.

Another happy surprise form Tiffany Roberts

I really enjoyed this book. I usually don’t like very “alien” looking alien romance stories. However, I am now wishing there were more books in the series available on Audible! The storyline is pretty strong and the characters are good together. The world building is good also.

Another excellent world and story

Tiffany Roberts never fails to disappoint with her stories. I really hope they add more of her works soon. This story was definitely a new take on an “alien” with tentacles.

The story was good, and very loving

Not overly sexual but enough. I didn’t care for the narrators, they sounded almost mechanical

Audible: I added the whispersync audible narration to this kindle book. I do NOT recommend listening to the audio book. It is better to just read this one. There are two narrators. The female was fine but the male wasn't my favorite. He didn't enunciate well or speak clearly and the way he spoke did not match Jax's character.
