Cringe worthy
I couldn't get through chapter 3. There may be some good basic information here about Socrates, but it reads like a high school research project with grammar to match. The performer seems fine, but I just kept wondering how he managed to keep sounding professional and not break into a rant about having to read such poorly constructed, poorly edited writing.

Off the track
The stories about, Socrates were interesting, but the writer gets off the track and puts his own philosophy, opinions and viewpoints into this book. When he did that, he completely lost me and made a potentially good book into a rambling on his social slant.
