Publisher's summary

The girl who loves Christmas falls for the Grinch—it’s a Christmas miracle. What started as a dumpster fire of a blind date turns into a deal.

In truth, it probably didn’t help that I showed up dressed like an elf but that’s a story for another time. Our start was rocky at best which is why it’s so frustrating that I can’t stop thinking about his sexy British accent. Or the way his chest and arms fill out his suit. Or his perfect hair with that single streak of grey at the front.

Santa likes lists and so do I, so here’s all the reasons why Andrew and I aren’t right for each other:

  • He’s my brother’s best friend.
  • He’s the biggest grump I’ve ever met.
  • He hates Christmas.

That last one is big for a girl like me who thinks that the entire month of December should be a national holiday. So, when he calls for my help in planning his firm’s holiday party, I can’t pass up the opportunity to grow my small business. Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I’d pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch’s heart grow three times its size.

It isn’t long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That’s when the Christmas miracle begins.

Good until the end.....

I really enjoyed this book and the story until the end and the double standard **** Spoiler****

Both of them have insecurities from the past they both need to work on. She never once apologizes for throwing his past in his face, but yet she gets mad at him when she feels the pain from her past and expects him to apologize.

Cute Christmas story with some steam 💗

I love duet narrations, and this particular audiobook was no different. John Lane and CJ Bloom truly brought these characters to life.

The story itself was enjoyable and fast-paced, providing a delightful escape for those who enjoy Christmas romance. Overall, it served as a refreshing and uplifting read.

Holiday HEA

This Christmas romance has all of the things I enjoy from a Piper Rayne story: family, humor, heat, a touch of angst, a bit of grovel, and a lot of love. Of course, this holiday romance was all wrapped up in a HEA.

Narration was great.

The Grinch Has Met His Match!

I honestly love nothing more than a hilarious opening to a book, and oh my, does Piper Rayne deliver! Kenzie and Andrew’s first date was an adorkably sweet, albeit disastrous meet-cute. Andrew is so uptight at the beginning, it’s adorable. Kenzie’s quirky, lovable demeanor is captivating. Andrew’s stalwart, Grinchy snark has an alluring charm, I just couldn’t get enough of these two! The rippling electricity between the two was undeniable from the start. If you love an opposites-attract, best friend’s sister romance with loads of holiday cheer, don’t miss Single and Ready to Jingle!

CJ Bloom and John Lane gave fabulous performances as Kenzie and Andrew. CJ is one of my favorite narrators. I have only listened to a handful of John’s narrations, and each has been exceptional…but British John Lane tops them all to-date! Piper Rayne’s story combined with John Lane and CJ Bloom’s fantastic performances make Single and Ready to Jingle a must-listen this holiday season!

Cute hallmark type story

Narrators get a 5 ⭐️. Both did a fabulous job.

This is a cute short story. Your typical Scrooge hot English man and giddy girl who loves her some Christmas. A splash of spice 🌶️ thrown in. Story line was decent, but rushed at the end. All together a good 4 star that I would recommend to anyone.

Leaves sappy in the dust

When you know a story is about a Christmas miracle and a guy learns to love the holiday again you might think Hallmark movie. Nope. This book is witty, genuine, and a little gritty in the relationship department. and if that's not convincing read it for the leading man's narration. the rumbly British accent is to melt over.

The narrators really brought the story to life!

This was such a cute, entertaining holiday read! I enjoyed the characters, especially Kenzie’s upbeat personality and witty humor! I bought the narration/audio so I could easily transition between reading and listening, depending on what I had going on. The audio was excellent, and I loved listening to the banter between characters. The narrators really brought the story to life! Highly recommend!

So good!

Loved the story and that it had a plot to it instead of being short and not really having a story. So cute!
