Sex begins in the kitchen indeed!

Much needed practical insight and reminder! I really enjoyed this book. I bought the hard copy several years ago . Although, I enjoyed the content, I never made time to complete it. The convenience of listen on my commute to and from work gave me the opportunity, so glad I did;. Sex Begins in the Kitchen is a great honing tool for the tools in my marriage toolbox.

simple, common sense, hard to practice.

Good to hear these simple truths that are hard to put into practice. The examples are very helpful.

I liked it until the mental illness shaming

I was very involved listening to this book until I was caught off guard with a comment the author says. He says mental illness is a choice and when speaking about a client of his to admitted herself in a mental institution, the author says she copped out, and caused her husband to have to pay $8,000. I was disgusted at this comment.

Also beware that author omits chapter 9 in this audio book and says if you want to know more about this chapter about anger, refer to a written copy of his book. Thank you a lot sir for suggesting I pay for this book twice.

Practical in every way!

The beginning is wonderful!! The author is speaking to a live audience and is very transparent and full of humor and real life situations.

The rest of the book is just as valuable although it took me awhile to adjust to Dr. Leman's reading voice!!
I do prefer his animated/live voice however I do enjoy audio books read by the author! This book gets 5 stars!

Average obvious message delivered poorly

This audio book promises big things for men trying to understand themselves in the context of their relationship with the woman.

It delivers its empty message via an onstage speech with attempts at comedy that the topic to easily allows.

For those wishing to better understand the complex play between men and women in long term monogamous probably spend your time on the other great titles that audible have.

The concept is real just superficially explained.
