Would you listen to Overcoming Fears again? Why?

I believe these affirmations are improving my immune systems response to food prior to these affirmations I was convinced all food was harming me and I was fearful.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I am safe the world is a safe and friendly place. I am at peace with life!

If you are really distressed this book is for you

Very relaxing and nice talk. If you are very distressed then this audio book is for you. Though for the others this might be too tedious.

Releasing

Meditations don't need to be long to be effective. In fact the longer they are the less people tend to return to them. I thought these were good short relaxing meditations that really hit to the root of people's fears and help to transform our negative thoughts into positive thoughts. After listening to this every day for a week I could feel a shift in my thinking, I didn't feel as dragged down by the little things and was better able to cope with what life threw at me. There is something to be said for thinking positive and letting go of negative emotions.

Sparse

What did you like best about Overcoming Fears? What did you like least?

I like Louise Hay's voice but did not find the content compelling. I was most surprised by the length of the audio version. A few paragraphs and then done. the end.

What was most disappointing about Louise L. Hay’s story?

glossed over imagery of a better world. which was nice but no real depth

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

It was a bit fast for relaxation.

Could you see Overcoming Fears being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

NO,, it was only a couple of paragraphs unless I missed something

Any additional comments?

NO

Powerful Stuff

The first time I listened to this audio book I released a lot of negativity I had been holding onto for decades. The impact of the book was startling and surprising - I had not expected such a powerful response. My childhood had been very fearful and insecure and I had never really come to terms with it or released a lot of fear and terror.

I know this audio book has helped me move past the traumas I experienced, because the 2nd time I listened to it, my response was greatly reduced, though still I felt reassured and safe after listening. I think those people who wrote negative reviews must have not had much to release - which is actually a very nice situation to be in isn't it? I would probably be in that category now, thanks to Louise Hay's wonderful book. Her genuine love and care for others is obvious to me.

DON'T BOTHER, YOU CAN'T PLAY IT OR GET REFUND

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Wanted to download this to my phone, did so, but it won't play the file. Same on my laptop. What a waste of money. I'm not opening Audible every time I want to listen to it. Can't seem to find a refund button either!! What a shocker. Should have bought the CD

Very good

I found her voice very relaxing & assuring when she talks. Although I was quickly bored of hearing it, it had my attention for about a week.
