This book was written with you and your garage sale in mind. Spring is here and summer is right around the corner, which means the season to bring out your unwanted house hold items is upon us. Everything you need to know and do is in this audiobook, from what items to bring out, to setting up your tables, pricing your items, advertising your garage sale, and what to do when it's all over, besides going to the bank.
Sally Parker walks you through her proven steps for having a stress-free and successful garage sale. It saves me the time of hopping all over the Internet and trying to glean some helpful tidbits.
All her best tips are in an easy-to-understand book. This is a well-thought out guide that shows know-how gained from experience: before, during, and after is dealt with clearly. If you're thinking about a garage sale, start here. Enjoy!
I purchased this book thinking I would learn insightful strategy for garage sale preparation and operation. I didn't learn anything that isn't obvious. The voice over artist was extremely peppy and did her best to make the text exciting, but her inflection felt like a sales pitch rather than a conversation. Very disappointing.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Very easy to follow and presented garage sales as a real money-making possibility.
Which character – as performed by LaDawn Black – was your favorite?
Her voice is one of my favorites and really the only reason I picked this up. She could read anything and I find it most interesting.
