Paint a mental picture!!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If the woman's voice wasn't so hard to listen to

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

If it had more then 1 chapter! Different scenarios.

What didn’t you like about the narrator’s performance?

Not a soothing voice to help you get comfortable.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I thought it was fun! It was a nice trip into my desired future! Wouldn't have thought to think this way without this book!

Any additional comments?

Give me some more to think about! :)

So worthwhile!<br />

I was curious about Martha Beck, and this was a way for me to experience her. This is an exercise for imagining and experiencing an ideal day. I usually don't slow down to do this kind of thing, but I did this time because I am ready for insight into how to help my life develop. She warns that you may experience surprises, and I certainly did. It wasn't an experience where I made choices. It was more like having a waking dream. That's why you shouldn't multitask. Now I feel like I can go to this place and that the things that I did are real. I can feel what it feels like just thinking about it. It makes me feel happy and awake to think about it. I plan to repeat this experience over time regularly. I've been sharing it with others too.

boring

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I have tried listening to this book several times, as the title sounds so inviting. I never can make it past the first 10 mins. It is in a depressing tone, and rises anxiety whiel trying to absorb the content.

What could Martha Beck have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

As far as visualization so go...

visualization is a good idea, but your suggestions Left no space for me to actually invoke my own intuition. Instead I visualized what you said. It was very frustrating.
