Publisher's Summary

Two love matches made. One to go.

Even though two of his best friends have settled down, Wes Lancaster is determined not to get sucked into some siren's web. As owner of the professional football team the New York Mavericks and the wildly successful BAD restaurant, his lifestyle is full as it is.

Well, it was, until Winnie Winslow - the new sexy, stiletto-wearing team physician - trash-talks him in the locker room without batting an eye. Now he can't stop himself from wanting her.

The only girl in her parents' brood of five, she's as outspoken as she is beautiful and the kind of woman who holds her own - and then some.

Always competitive at heart, if he's going all in for love, Wes sure as hell wants a win-win.

Prepare to get a little dirty, because this one might go into overtime. Game on.

narrators...Joe Arden is my favorite.

I wish I could give this a full 5 stars and would if it were just Joe Arden. unfortunately Maxine Mitchell is not so good, too much emotion in places where it's not called for and throws off the vibe of the girl character making her appear weak and dramatic.

painful to listen to

I tried but couldn't get pass chapter 3 or 4 which is a pity because I really loved the first 2 books. The female narrator drags out the end of words when she speaks which I personally found annoying. I'm definitely going to try to get the actual book, the first 2 were pretty good and I'll die from curiosity if I don''t find out how Wes' story develops! This audio version was disappointing.

A FUNNY & DELICIOUSLY HOT ROM/COM

I thought the last two books that this secretive writing duo did were just great.. but I think they kept the best for last as Wes and Winnie finally get their own story. And what an enjoyable and entertaining story it was as the Playboy owner of the Mavericks succumbs to love.

Although his best friends Kline and Thatch have found love Wes is quite happy with his bachelor lifestyle of football, foreplay and f...ing - well he was happy until he sees Winnie Winslow - his Teams gorgeous smart sassy new Physician and suddenly Wes can't get the feisty woman out of his mind. But every time they're near each other there are glares, arguements and you could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Winnie is a loving Mom to a high-functioning autistic six year old and has no intentions of getting involved with a workaholic womanizer like Wes Lancaster who could easily disrupt hers and her daughter's very structured lifestyle and he's her Boss. But never say never right? because it doesn't take long for sparks to fly, flames to build and for passion to burn brightly as a hot 'friends with benefits' relationship turns into something much much more.

Winnie has tamed the bear (Wes) who is now charming, sweet and even smiles at employees and he deserves the love of a good woman - so finally, with Winnie and her daughter, he gives and receives the adoration of two special females. However, just as the normally self-assured confident Wes finds love, contentment and happiness by being an important part of a close loving family unit, he suddenly has a crisis of faith in himself. His revelation leaves a very confused and annoyed Winnie to pick up the pieces of shattered dreams, tattered hopes and broken hearts... vowing never to go there again - but, as I said, never say never because Wes finally and thankfully sees the light.. but is it too late for this reformed Playboy?

The mysterious duo of writers have proved themselves over and over again with this enjoyable series by continually giving me 5* addictive rom/com love stories. They have made me laugh out loud with the character's antics, thoughts and deeds, I've cringed, giggled and cheered over the quick-witted easy banter, blushed at the sex scenes hoping no one else can hear, happy sighed at the sweet promises and declarations made, swooned at the passion felt and growled in frustration when someone inevitably messed up. With this book it was also great to catch-up with Georgia and Kline and a hilarious pregnant Cassie and Thatcher as they were all impressively woven into the fun and games. And your heart will melt at the interactions between Wes and Winnie's daughter Lex. Joe and Maxine did a wonderful job at the dual POV narration as usual.

Worth a credit? Yes and I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all the characters in this series so it's with a heavy heart I have to say adieu to them.. but I'm eagerly watching and waiting to see who and what comes next from this mighty duo.

If you are offended by the use of GD

I loved this series, but cringed every time they used GD, and it was A LOT! This series was great on it's own and would have been even better in my opinion by not using God's name in vein. I hope that future books will be written as great as these were, but without using GD. I also would like more closer in the epilogue. Mainly because I just didn't want the book to end.

Wes & Winnie

▪▪▪Review contains spoilers▪▪▪

Audible Escapes review. Dual POV. Book 5 in the 6 book Bad Boy Billionaires Series (marked as book 3 in the series because the novellas are marked 1.5, 2.5 & 3.5). Narrators did a great job. This is my favorite couple of the three but I didn't like the how abruptly they ended their relationship, the entire scene with Nick professing his love to Winnie was odd & the ending was unsatisfying. Pop culture references. Trigger warnings: special needs child, Wes's mom died in child birth, single parents, anal fingering.

**uncertain of the spelling of character names**

Wes Lancaster (35; aka Mr L, Whitney) is the owner of a pro football team, BAD restaurant, & is a silent investor in start up companies across the US. His best friends are Kline [married to Georgia (aka Wheorgie)] & Thatcher [(aka Thatch, Daddy, T-bag) married to Cassie (aka Cass, Crazy; pregnant, then delivers their son Ace)]. He's habitually tardy, sexually dominant, studied electrical engineering in College, his mom died giving birth to him, and he's an only child. His assistant is Ainsley. His manager of Bad is Amanda. His still single father is Kyle Lancaster. His team manager is Frankie Hart. Dr Winifred Winslow (31; aka Winnie, little sister, Win, Dr W, Pooh, Fred, MiniWinnie) is Wes's football team's physician, a single mother, and is the youngest of 5 with 4 brothers [Remington (aka Remy, Rem; oldest, single, day trader), Thai, Jude, & Flynn] all raised by their single mom. Winnie's midnight snack turns into the first night she spends in bed with Wes. After he fell asleep, she packed, left and they all flew home the next morning. The night of Kline's company Halloween party Lexi got hurt (6 stitches in her chin no other details given). Wes meets Remy when he takes Winnie home from the party after Remy had taken Lexie to get stitches. Lexi goes to work with Winnie & Wes shows Lexie how to kick a field goal. Wes, Winnie & Lexi have dinner at Bad. Winnie, Cassie, Georgia & Dean have lunch. Winnie franks out when she realizes Lexie has lice. Wes helps them with life removal. Winnie meets Wes's dad. Wes goes to Winnie's for a meal with Winnie's family. Wes takes Lexie & Winnie to see 'Wicked.' They go to Lexie's football game. Wes got stuck in a snowstorm and missed Lexie's playoff football game. Wes broke up with Winnie because he didn't think he could be there for them.  2 months later, Winnie (& a date) & Wes (& a date) see each other at a charity event for autism research. Winnie learns that Will, Georgia's brother, chose obstetrics. Cassie goes into labor. Ace Tobias Kelly is born without an epidural, 9 lbs 10 oz 22 inches long. Wes kisses Cassie in the hospital after Axe was born, she slapped him, she went to see Nick, her brothers, Kline & Thatcher go to see Wes. Thatcher goes to video Lexie's school play for Wes because his flight is delayed. Wes meets Lexie & Winnie and tells them he loves them.

Epilogue they go on vacation together with the football team including Kline and Georgia. Thatcher, Cassie & Ace crash the trip.

Oh Win! Oh Wes!

Has Wes met his match? Can he have a family to call his own? You’ll have to listen to the story to find out! Joe Arden gives a superb performance but again I feel let down by Maxine Mitchell - her drawn out words at the end of each sentence was a little irritating. However, worth the credit for a fun adventure through the HEA city.

I would recommend this series.

I genuinely enjoyed this series. The romance was very steamy and the perspective from a male author was refreshing.

Loved it but...

It was a great and fun story! The only complaint I have is the amount of cussing in this book was just an overkill.

Just keeps getting better and better

I loved Wes & Winne's story! These two have great chemistry! I love Lexi and the relationship between Wes and her. This book was super sweet and SO Hot! I laughed a lot whenever the girls from this series were together. I hope there is more to come from this author on audio!

Great Narration! I loved that they have different narrators for each book since each book is about different characters.

This series is a MUST READ for contemporary romance lovers.

Predictably Boring

Great narration but very predictable story line. Plenty of sex if that's what you're after but the rest left little to be desired.
