Great listen

This is a cute story and for the most part great narration. I only wish the female narrator had watched at least one episode of NCIS so that the pronunciation of Ziva’s last name would have been correct!

Pleasantly surprised

Laughed out loud in the beginning. Drawn in by the mystery. Stay engaged due to a strong MMC. I devoured it in two days. Enjoyable read.

Audio is the way to go!!!

This is an amazing story wrapped in a CSI colored bow. It’s fast paced and great chemistry between the two narrators! SOOO good!!

A virgin as a phone sex operator, while the grumpy detective listens in to help find a murder suspect? Say less! This book was absolutely hilarious and I loved the added mystery/suspense element!

Hannah and Dom had me laughing from the very start! Hannah and her sheltered ways and Dom trying so hard to keep it cool and laugh at her while on her calls had me belly laughing. Some of the things that came out of her mouth were so unhinged in the most sweet and innocent way. I loved how sweet and understanding Dom was with Hannah, he knew exactly what to say and do to make her feel comfortable and confident as she found her self as a woman. That 3rd act, woo wee, what a ride!

Lee Samuels and Summer Morton narrated this book and they did a fantastic job! I really enjoyed this listen!

pleasantly surprised

This book was not what I thought it was going to be. It turned out really good. The fact that it has cute meet or it kinda does, 😂 there's comedy, there's murder mystery. It had practically everything in it definitely could have changed a few things but overall it was a good read. And the audio was great the narrators really nailed it. This is definitely a book I would recommend. The ending could have been a little bit more different but still it was cute it was good I enjoyed it

Call Me Anytime is this warm, slightly chaotic blend of humor, heart, and suspense that works in a way I didn’t expect. Hannah is trying to hold her life together while caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s. When she accidentally takes a job on a phone sex hotline, her awkward charm and quiet resilience make her instantly easy to care about. Detective Dominic Dunn enters the story with steady patience and a protective streak that fits her life in all the right ways.

One of the standouts for me is how NCIS becomes a comfort anchor. It’s tied to Hannah’s mother, to her memories, and eventually to the way she and Dom connect. Those details make the story feel more grounded and personal.

The narration is a perfect match. Summer Morton captures Hannah’s soft humor and vulnerability. Lee Samuels brings a warm, quietly commanding energy to Dom. Together, they make the emotional beats land exactly where they should.

Sweet, suspenseful, genuinely charming. A surprisingly heartfelt story about connection showing up when life feels heavier than it should. As always, Max Monroe deliver.

LAUGHED OUT LOUD. It was great. Narrators did a great job with this one. Great job!

So many funny moments that I had to stop the audio so I didn't miss any of it while I controlled my laughter.

I'm not sure if this is how this line of work really works because I've never thought of it but it seems like any other call center except of course the subject matter. Hannah couldn't be anymore naive or is she just sheltered? This makes for some very interesting conversations.

Dom and Shane have a great working relationship, like an old married couple in their banter. Again some very funny conversations.

overall this is a very funny book and don't pretty well by the narrators.

Laugh out loud fun

Hannah is something else y'all. I don't even know how to explain her because she is so unserious, yet completely serious at the same time. The things that came out of this woman's mouth literally had me HOWLING. I definitely picked up some new every day sayings. 🤣 meep meep

And Dom was the best. Seriously, he's the most caring and selfless man. The things he did for Hannah and her mother were so precious.

This book was an absolute trip, the audio was PHENOMENAL. Lee & Summer brought this book to life in every single way! I'm literally obsessed and already want to listen again!

If you love Rom Coms, this is the one!

Not what I expected from this duo....

I am a fan of the Max Monroe duo but this one seemed as if another duo wrote it. I liked how they handled alzheimers. As for the rest, I found myself fast-forwarding, sometimes skipping chapters the further read/listened.
