If you loved the movie, this fills in some blanks

I am a huge planet of the apes fan and it was great to "read" the book without turning pages, and when I wanted to go back over a section, it was great having the 30 second rewind button. The story itself was great, everything I had hoped for. Apes together, strong!

Surprisingly good

This surprisingly good novel was both moving and beautiful. It had me in tears. Better than the movie, I'm sure

Well worth a go

It is an exact replication of the film, which is no surprise, however it does give you the insight into the thought process of the characters; plus it was superbly read.
