Publisher's Summary

What would you do to survive?

Weeks after the EMP, society is collapsing. Food is scarce and violence prevails. Surviving has never been harder.

Max's group is heading west, trying to find a home away from the chaos. They'll need more supplies for their trip, so they go scavenging in a seemingly abandoned town. But is Albion really as safe as it seems?

Chad thought he had it together. He'd been pulling his own weight. But the stress is getting to him. Does he have the strength to resist a path back to his old habits? One wrong move and he could put everyone's life in danger.

Holed up in the farmhouse, John and Cynthia try to figure out their next move. The militia is closing in. Each passing minute means more danger. But where else can they go?

Pushing On is book three of The EMP, a post-apocalyptic survival thriller series. It deals with real people fighting for their survival every inch of the way.

good story short on facts

the story was great as was the preformance. But facts was short and I feel the author should have done some research on the subject. At one point he talks about a safety on a revolver (verry few of those exist) more then once he refers to rifles as assult rifles (AR in AR15 stands for Armalite) the first company to mass produce them. there was other thing as well, more research should have been done on the subject before added to the book

Well worth the purchase

This is book 3in the series and the best so far. The narrator is excellent as always and the story was great.. I enjoyed this book far more than the second book in this series. In a few moments I will download the 4th..i hope it is as good as this one is.

Liking this series the more I read it.

I was a bit sceptical at first. The more volumes I listen the more I like it.

really short

It's a good book. Entertaining and seems a bit different than other EMP Books.
The book is terribly short for the cost, this one is an hour shorter than the other two which were super short. If I hadn't started the series already, I would not opt to download it because of the shortness.
This is a typical series built to moderately entertain you but make you buy 5 more books which should have been a 1, or maybe 2 book series

page turner

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Westfield delivered an exciting novel that is read by one of the best in the business, Kevin Pierce.

Good book, with one exception.

I have enjoyed these audiobooks however, I’m not very keen on the writers use of the word militia, making them sound like they’re all bad people. There are plenty of militia throughout the United States of America, who would help every American citizen they could survive.

love this series

I love Westfield's books and especially life ones narrated by Kevin Pierce. Only complaint is that they are too short.

A Fun & Enjoyable Listen Books 1-3.

I have really enjoyed listening to Ryan Westfield’s The EMP, Books 1-3. Westfield’s trilogy is consistent in story and conveniently draws you in to its Characters and surroundings. So far, Westfield’s P-A EMP series has been fun and I’m already patiently awaiting Book 4.
