Publisher's Summary

Cole’s Saga - a post-apocalyptic novel by AJ Newman

Cole’s Saga is a stand-alone spin-off series, based on my American Apocalypse series. Cole’s Saga continues the story about Cole Biggs, and how he and his friends survive the apocalypse. North Korea, China, and Iran conspired against the world and used EMP bombs to destroy our grid. This new series starts in the Kentucky / Tennessee part of the US. The grid is down, and people panic as planes fall from the sky and cars stall. The US Government collapses and rogue government groups rise to power. Jack Harp is Cole’s best friend’s father. Jack has had to survive on his own back in Kentucky while Cole and Joe Harp tamed Southern Oregon and killed or got rid of the gangs and thugs. Jack and Cole team up to fight the rogue FEMA troops so they can try to escape and join their friends back in Oregon. Cole, Molly, and her two cousins were kidnapped by FEMA and imprisoned in a FEMA Camp where they work as slaves to help rebuild the eastern part of the old US. They were captured in California and taken to a FEMA camp in Kentucky. Cole had promised to take the women to Ashland, Oregon, and the safety of Cole’s community and he will succeed or die trying.

Listen to Cole’s Saga to find out how this young man survives and builds a team strong enough to defy the rogue FEMA and survive the lack of food and resources encountered during the apocalypse.

Very good book.

Liked the story. A bit much on the romance side, but I would recommend it to a friend.

Really good side story

the character development and writing style really add to the original story. Cole has taken the lessons that he learned to help another crew and being a young man he's still mature enough to teach others and take setbacks. Looking forward to part 2

Another good one

Loved it. Some slow spots but I never fell asleep. Mr. Kevin kicked butt as always. Ready for round two and a meeting. Would some one slap Molly the next time she gets upitiy?

just bad

this book was hot garbage. it felt like someone was reading a transcript of a teenage lover quarrel from Facebook. "I know we are in the apocalypse but I'm going to lead this boy on so he will help me, wait I don't really like him at all but I'm jealous if anyone looks at him". " I wish this girl would stop messing with me". Hug me, don't touch me, hug me, get away from me. mix in a few bitchy letters from an old lady and this is the book. Also I really hate when authors make something a book one when really it's a book two or three.

good book

good story. The only discrepancy is that it is suppose to be mid 21st century yet there are no references to any scientific advances for that time (vehicles still run on gas?)

to much sex talk

there's way too much to talk about sex talks about sex getting naked underage sex is too much disgusting and two inappropriate in two way to much for children to read this book. and who the hell wrote this book and wants to put teenage sex in this that shows you what's on the adult author's mind no offense to the author but come on dude did you think about that enough when you were writing this book that's all you ever talk about between the death and shootings and killings rubbing up on cole like a dog in heat seriously horrible book!!! Kevin Pierce was fantastic and the best narrator I've ever heard as usual with all his books another 5 out of 5 stars for Kevin Pierce

great performance, story repeated too often

for some reason it repeated its self over and over again when talking about why characters were in/out of love. Too much time spent restating love interests and not enough explaining action sequences.

AMAZING BOOK!

Love this book, very realistic and the narration by Kevin Pierce is super. I can see how in the near future the world we live in today could become just like this book describes. Definetly a wake-up call you prep on certain areas. I highly recommend this book, well worth it.!

Never A Dull Moment

Hard not to like this series. The writer has a great way of also teaching the reader about all manner of tactics and precautions you could take as if the epic was real. I have continued to purchase all the installments of this epic tale and have loved every one. Its almost like an ongoing education as well as being thoroughly entertaining. B

Very Disappointed

Was looking for a better story bases on Cole and I am sure it would have been but Joe's father ruined it. In addition you could tell the author throw this book together without really planning it out. The story is rushed the characters except for Cole are very flat and in some ways never had a person to build from.
The narrators tried to save the story but it was a lost cause and even loving Grandma or mom to Jack couldn't save it.
