Publisher's Summary

I write software at a San Francisco startup. I have my dream job, but I also have a secret. We are not alone. The last time I was taken I was 14. Three weeks ago I celebrated my 21st birthday, and I know that the grey men will soon come again. I devoted my life to technology so I'd be ready when they returned. Others have prepared too, and I will find them. Together we will harness the abilities they have given us. We are Project Solaris. It's time to fight back.

Chris Fox is a genius.

Ryan Kennard Burke brilliantly narrates an amazing, creative, and edge-of-your-seat story, full of twists and turns, laugh out loud humor, and full of sci fi action. I definitely suggest Hero Born to anyone who appreciates the genre. Chris Fox is definitely one of my new favorite authors.

Love this book,

I have listen to most of Chris Fox's books and always sad when I'm done. If you are just discovering him then you are very lucky. Start with No such thing as wear wolfs and go thorough that series then start this book. It will give you a great understand and appreciation for this very good book. Also you can buy the 1st three of wear wolfs as a group which is great. Enjoy!!

I wish it was longer, LOVED IT

If you could sum up Hero Born in three words, what would they be?

Chris Fox Rocks

Who was your favorite character and why?

The main character was most likely my favorite. He wasn't an over cocky, indestructible hero, he had his own weaknesses, flaws, and regrets.

Which character – as performed by Ryan Kennard Burke – was your favorite?

He did an excellent job with all the characters and voices.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The gem the mother left was a cool touch

Amazing prequel to the Deathless Series

Any additional comments?

If you are a fan of the Deathless series then you will definitely like this book. It is well written and I definitely enjoyed it. You will find several characters from the Deathless series appear in this prequel. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and hope that the author writes more.

excellent listen!

I really enjoyed this book. As a first book in a series, it is excellent. The reader did a n outstanding job. Each character was distinctive. He never mixed his character's voices. And his pronunciations were correct. Now on to book 2.

Very engrossing story

This is a tie in to no such things as werewolves but Im not quite sure of the approach vector. Regardless, I enjoyed this very much.
