Publisher's Summary

How did Nolan end up exiled to the 14th?

Exiled leads seamlessly into the novel Destroyer, detailing how Nolan first encountered agents of the Void Wraith.

The Void Wraith are not yet ready to begin their war against the Milky Way. Experiments must be conducted. DNA mapped. Slaves created. They move cautiously, their agents infiltrating the governments of every major race. But every invasion leaves clues - clues that one OFI officer has stumbled across.

Stations are disappearing. Whole populations gone seemingly overnight. Commander Nolan convinces the Office of Fleet Intelligence to dispatch him to investigate. He discovers something far more sinister and far reaching than he imagined. Along the way he'll sacrifice his career, his relationship, and his faith in the Unified Earth Fleet.

Great prequel

What did you love best about Exiled: Void Wraith Prequel Story?

I listened to Exiled after Destroyer (Exiled didn't pop up in my you might like selection until after I had bought Destroyer). I really love how the characters were introduced and getting the back story of the main character. Its very interesting to see how Nolan started off and what he became by the end.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this book, I would Annie is my favorite character. Her take no crap from anyone and smile when you take out the bad guy attitude was the perfect contrast to the prim and proper officers from OFI.

Any additional comments?

I loved the entire series. I would highly recommend Chris Fox's The Deathless series as well as the Void Wraith series. Mr. Fox is an amazing writer and Mr. Burke is a wonderful narrator. I appreciate the way he embraces each character throughout narration.

Takes a long time to build up

I also think that i should have read the first book before the prequel. since the setting felt mostly unexplained.

I'm NOT a SciFi fan, but I am REALLY enjoying this series...I definitely recommend it and anything else by Chris Fox and the narrator too.

short, entertaining, and it fills in a few blanks

good work here, tittle says it all really. a great addition to the series. and now becuase audible requires that I saw at lest twenty words on the subject. FIZGIG IS TOO CUTE A NAME FOR A BAD ASS MILITARY COMANDER. there, that is my only complaint. 😋😋😋☺☺☺

not worth a credit

I'll continue this series but this was to short and not enough story.
Reader is very slow and flat but tolerable like a black and white TV after a few minutes

Short story.

Picked this up without reading into the detail, not worth a full credit. 50pgs at best. 24 chapters, -5 min each.

Not so good

Short , predictable and 2 grade violence, well read. I would not buy it again.

Good Starter

A good prologue story, and was well narrated. The only drawback was the multiple, short chapters. Several of them could have been combined, in my opinion.

very enjoyable listen

What made the experience of listening to Exiled: Void Wraith Prequel Story the most enjoyable?

it was good to find out how Nolan ended up in the 14th fleet & it laid the ground work for the main story.

What about Ryan Kennard Burke’s performance did you like?

I loved the performance from burke, he is quickly becoming one of my favourite narrators & suits chris fox's style of story telling.
