Publisher's Summary

What if you needed Tom Cruise to save your planet, but all you had was Sheldon?

Hey, there! Name's Jerek. I'm not very fast, not very strong, and my best friend is a dragon with a bit of a gut. We're underachievers, but somehow we've become some of the best relic hunters in the galaxy. At least I have a bit of fire magic, so I'm not totally useless.

From failing to save my world from imploding (oops), to waking up super powerful ancient starships, if you need someone to make a bad situation worse, then I'm your man.

A new series in the Amazon best-selling Magitech Chronicles universe. Want to make your own characters? The Magitech Chronicles RPG allows you to be part of the action long after you finish the books.

As good as anything I’ve read.

This series is every bit as good as his others. I was wondering if it was going to hold up, and of course it did. Now I need the next one!

Pure excrement

to be fair, I only listened an hour or so, and that long because I was curious how much worse it could get. The author lost me at "spell pistol", and the narrator lost me at "liebarry" rather than library. I'm getting my credit back for this one.

Lot of fun and completely absorbing!

If you don't read this box set, too bad for you as you should. If you are looking for a melancholic simple story to bide some time with then this is probably not for you because it takes you in and then refuses to let go. Magic infused personal gear, and weapons, I like it! Thank you to the author.

A great expansion

Frankly, I thought it was almost perfect; my only complaint is Jarrett's similarity to Aran in that both were unassuming, average or below average individuals with nothing special about them. The difference is that Aran was specifically chosen for that reason, Jarrett sort of lucked his way in (so far, anyway) and that distinction is something I appreciate.

Great

totally worth it. I fully enjoyed the story and the narration. The whole saga is a must have for Scifi and fantasy fans.

Room for Improvment

You have a massive room for improvement. Like having a real plot, you have none. Nothing really moved forward. Lots of side characters that have no depth or I care little for. All of them can be fired out a airlock and you wouldn't miss any of them. Outside being TOLD you need to turn over a ship or told you need to turn over the armor by people the MC doesn't work for or take orders from. All three books the MC is being lead around by others; I still don't get why he is even listening to a minster who has lost all power and a planet.
