don't know if it gets better.

ever read a book where the characters feel like puppets on a string and make decisions based on what is most dramatic for that moment? Or a book that has fight scenes with multiple combatants where everyone is frozen except the one character that is performing actions for like 30 seconds? If so, then this book is for you.

Worth the Creditl

For how many hours there are, it's a worthwhile purchase. The narration is solid but the characters are copies of the original ones personalities. All the guys are gamer dorks who have image issues and try to fold their arms in imitation of someone actually intimidating. You'll also probably have to delete and download the book a few times when it fails to play, but it's not slow to start up again. I'd say it's still worth getting.

Great mixture of magic and science fiction!

I loved the performance of the narrator. I really liked rooting for the main characters. It did not end ghe way I thought it would.

Not bad, just not outstanding

The first half of this omnibus was pretty good. The second half started kind of bland, but got a little better. I really wasn’t a fan of the ending and I’m assuming there are more books in the series or it’s just left open to more books later. The narrator did a great job and overall it was entertaining, but after all this time listening, I’m ready to listen to something else.
