Need a introduction to Drizzt, here you go ...

Would you listen to Dark Mirror again? Why?

This is the first of the free Drizzt series that actually involves Drizzt -- the introduction narrated by Felicia Day involves his dwarven friends. I hadn't read this particular story before, which begins with an excellent battle sequence but ends with a very emotional tale of an intelligent goblin and Drizzt's own prejudice. It really doesn't get any better than this. A remarkable story, with lots of action, lots of subtleties, Here it is, laid out plain, why Drizzt is one of the most interesting literary creations of all time. He is from a hated race, and he tries to befriend one from an even more hated race, a race he himself hates. And the result is tragedy. Beautifully read by Dan Harmon.

Can there be others like Drizzt?

Drizzt comes face to face with a good goblin. Yet how can he possibly save him when goblins are so universally hated.

An ingenious illustration of the evils of bigotry

The author's intentions were obvious and conveyed in such a way that even the most daft of individuals could not help but understand this message. I thoroughly enjoyed this touching but tragic tale.

Some Truths Are Too Hard To Bear

A tale of the broadening of minds and the narrow minds that deny all truths that does not fit their safe cruel understanding if the world(s). Well worth a listen to see whether you are ruled by fear or understanding...
