Better than I remembered

I read this as a teen, and now as an older guy. It’s just as amazing as the first time. The narration was excellent, though shocking at first. I fully recommend it for Feist fans and friends of Pug.

Excellent presentation

Where does A Darkness at Sethanon rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the best I have listened too.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nicholas did an excellent job at developing several of the characters.

What about Nicholas Guy Smith’s performance did you like?

Nicholas was outstanding in his reading of the books. Each character had a distinctive voice and his presentation was very engaging and made you wanting to listen to more.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I really enjoyed these books when they came out. I kept watching for them to come out in an audio book. I was really glad when they did. I listened to all four in a row and really enjoyed them Nicholas did an outstanding job with these books.

Any additional comments?

If you enjoyed the series in print, you will really enjoy how Nicholas delivers these books in audio.

Amazing.

The narrator once again did a fine job on another of Raymond Feist's amazing books. I look forward to listening to more in this series. Unfortunately there are quite a few books missing in the Audible version. Namely the Riftwar Legacy books, the Serpentwar Saga books, the Conclave of Shadows books and the Darkwar Saga books. It would be amazing to have all of the Raymond Feist books on Audible.

I recommend the Peter Joyce Narration. not this

Selected narration to be included when buying the kindle book. I didnt think about the fact that I wasn't given an option for narrator.
Loved listening to the first 2 books in this set narrated by Peter Joyce. in comparison this narrator is much less lively, pronounces names oddly, some of which I can see why he reads them that way, but others like Carline (or Carleene if you listen to Smith) I can't work out how he made the jump to pronouncing it that way over the more straightforward pronounciation.
I am probably most put off his narration because I preferred Peter Joyce. I will pay more attention to what version of the audiobooks are being provided alongside the kindle copy next time.

Take away message: brilliant story, but there's a better version of the audio book, look for the one narrated by Peter Joyce!
