Publisher's Summary

When you can't trust yourself, how can you ask anyone else to?

It's been months since Aden Colt left the army, and still the memories haunt him. When he moved into a tiny boat off the California coast, he thought he'd found the perfect place to escape life. Then Sawyer shows up and turns his simple life upside down. Beautiful and sophisticated, she seems out of place in this laid-back beach town. Something is pushing her to experience everything she can - including Aden. But as much as he wants her, starting a relationship with Sawyer puts them both at risk. For Aden, the past doesn't stay there; it shows up unexpectedly, uncontrollably, and doesn't care whose life it wrecks.

Finally! A Love Story With Great Plot

This book is wonderful! The characters are very believable and rich. The plot isn't overly complicated but interesting, ensuring you don't skip a chapter for any reason. I almost binge listened to this book but kept getting interrupted by life. Agh! Highly recommend this book.

BEAUTIFUL

This story had me from the prologue to the epilauge. It constantly moved, but wasn't rushed. I fell in love with Aden from the beginning. His struggles making him real. Sawyer has us hooked, and despite the chips that are stacked against her, you're rooting for her to get the HEA she deseeves. The chemistry is off the charts and the sheets are left sizzling. Wrecked will grip your heart but leave you at peace. It's everything in one. The narrators do an amazing job bringing Aden and Sawyer to life and do JB's writing justice. My favorite read of 2017

Such an amazing story!!!

JB Salsbury has once again knocked me off my feet!!! This is s story filled with so many ups and downs, joy and sorrow, pain and pleasure. It's virtually a roller coaster of unending emotion....but in the best way possible.

The story starts with the pain of impending loss of a sister and her one final wish for her twin. They couldn't me more different than night and day but, to please her sister, Sawyer agrees to honor Cece's final request. In the end, Sawyer finds herself along the way...along with the one man who completes her.

Both of the narrator's were stupendous and I couldn't have chosen anyone better. They both read the story with the amount of heartfelt joy, lust, fear, pain and love that you would expect to hear if you were experiencing it first hand. The story will grab hold and ends in the most beautiful and poetic way possible

Overall, I would recommend this book however, be prepared to shed some tears...both the good and bad kind that make you realize how alive you truly are!!! @jbsalsbury

Great book! Rich characters and unusual plot

Any additional comments?

I really loved this book and have reread it several times. Loved the characters and unusual plot.

Their personal struggles were realistic and well developed. I thought the author handled the subject of PTSD in a compassionate manner. Aden's struggle was believable and the solace/distraction he found in Sawyer understandable.

Lots of steamy romance and the author had the skill to build great sexual tension slowly. Nicely, the romance develops early on and weaves seamlessly through the story. The narrators were great.

I would highly recommend this book.

A truly beautiful book!

If one book could encompass every emotion to the enth degree, this one would be it. Intelligent writing without being pretentious. This has become one of my favorite books and writers.
