I was excited to read Trace's story after meeting him in Forbidden Fling. I loved getting his redemption story and the romance was nicely written. You couldn't help but want to see Trace get the happily-ever-after he deserved. The way it transpired was captivating, if not at times frustrating due to the attitudes and expectations of others.
The audio was well done. I have listened to this narrator before and due to a lack-luster story, I wasn't very impressed. Personally, it was enlightening to realize that the story had much to do with not caring for the narration. She did a great job with this entertaining story.

When Avery Hart returns to Wildwood to open her bakery and cafe, she doesn't count on falling for the handsome contractor her sister hired to work on the roof. Trace Hutton knows that he's not good enough for the innocent divorcee, but he can't help wishing things were different. Even with the obstacles placed in front of them, Avery and Trace become closer and give their relationship a shot, but the universe has other plans.
If you're looking for a sweet romance with a bit of danger and a lot of Hart, this is the book for you.

Redemption
I like the redemption qualities of the plot and but a handful of the angsty reactions in some of the scenes were a little too exaggerated to me. Overall, the story was definitely enjoyable and I rooted for both main characters.
Tatiana Sokolov is a well listened-to favorite narrator of mine and did not disappoint in the retelling of this book.
