Damon! ❤️

This is book 3 of the devils night series featuring the 4 horsemen. This was Damon’s book and what a story this was! I hated Damon but really fell in love with him in this book! Damon and winter are magic together. The book reveals a lot of family secrets. It switches from past to present a lot which I usually don’t like but it didn’t bother me too much with this book. The story also leaves you with more questions too. Like how is the divorce going to go? Will they get married? How is winters sister going to react to all of this? Will Damon eventually have a relationship with his mom? What’s Banks going to do with the inheritance? Will Rika still run for office? So many questions! I hope book 4, Wills book will answer everything and also finally see Michael and Rikas wedding. As always another winner of a series so far with this one as the Fall Away series is still one of my favorites. Great narration too especially jumping between young and older character voices. So nice to see the horsemen and now horsewomen coming back together again! PS it would also be nice for Alex to get a nice HEA too... just sayin.

Love this series

I am definitely invested in this series and I have loved every book so far! Can’t wait to continue the journey. Narrators are good!

Talk about redemption. I went from loathing Damon to really loving him. I did not see that coming and it’s actually pretty remarkable how Penelope Douglas was able to achieve that. Such a complex character created from a tragic past. Damon and Winter have a unique and magical story. One that is intricate and warming. Winter is the perfect counterpart to Damon and I loved everything about her. Her strength and softness. She’s truly the perfect fit. They might be my favorite couple from this series. Looking forward to what comes next.

With each book they get better

Just a heads up to anyone that was abused as a child be careful with this book. Dont get me wrong it's a great book but if you have issues with this it could cause PTSD flash backs. with each book you root more and for for these boys LOVE THESE BOOKS!

The best book in the series so far in my opinion. And really shocked me with some of the plot twist ( booktok didn’t spoil it for me ;) ). Really got to see Damon in a different light, but I can’t wait to read Nightfall ( I have a soft spot for Will).

Not disappointed

The Devil’s Night Series is based on four friends and their love interests. Michael Crisp (Erika Fane), Kai More (Nikova Banks), Daman Torrance (Winter Ashby), and William Grayson III (Emory Scott).

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
Again.. I knew I was going to like this.. I was not disappointed in this book.

THOUGHTS AFTER READING THE BOOK:
This was by far my favorite book out of the series. Damon came a close second to being my favorite. There are things in this book that made me question myself, haha but other than that I loved it!

Damon is not my favorite…. If you have read the Devil’s Night Series who is your favorite? These books are a must-read!

Damon!!!

Spent 2 books hating Damon and almost didn’t get this book and I have loved this one most. Went from hating him to loving him!

It’s okay

I’ve only read 3 and I think I’m going to end it on this one , I’ve only gotten threw them because of audible. Definitely kill switch is the better of the ones I’ve read. Damon is chefs kiss, I just found the story hard to follow along at points, but overall not terrible

Good but my 3rd fav so far

This story seemed to drag on so much more than the first two. I think it was just a little too long. The narrators were still good and story was good but had to skip ahead some. 3/5🌶️🌶️🌶️ but 4⭐️

OMG so good

I was not looking forward to reading about Damon. Seeing as at the end of the last book I was not a big fan of his. However, with that being said I absolutely loved this book. Damon’s back story, the spice, and the emotional roller coaster made it the best so far in the series. This series is dark especially this book so please read TW before starting it.

Superb!

What a wonderful, twisted, rewarding, tough story. Damon becomes everything in this book as we see I to his past and present. His strength and courage are amazing. Winter is perfect for him and, listening to this audio a long time after reading the book, I really felt that I got to k ow her better. She too is amazing. Strong, brave and able to see behind the screen to the heart venerate. Jeremy York and Tatiana Sokolove narrate perfectly. Nuanced and emotionally available, they have been impossible to stop listening to. Brilliant 💖💖💖💖💖

I need more 😵

All the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat and the narration had me feeling all the emotions right along with the characters, definitely an enjoyable listen!

damon is something

honestly I was completely sure I hated damon but omg his story is so f up . but jesus it good. damon is very complex character, In the first 2 he was portrayed as a heartless vile man and don't get me wrong he is but he has is reasons and to be fair they are good reasons for the way he is. this book is honestly amazing from the writing to the voice actors 👏

My favourite in the series!

I wasn't sure I'd like this book. I didn't like Damon in the first 2 books in this series, but omg I loved this, this is my favourite of the 3 so far!! Damon is such a complex character, he's experienced so much during his life and his story helps you to see why he acts certain ways. I love the plot twists and finding things out that link through to books 1 and 2. Amazing!

Surprized

I was surprised, I didn't expect such a story, especially Damon, now I understand a lot of behavior and decisions made in the past. I warmly recommend this book.

Kill Switch is something else.

I've absolutely loved this series, but this has to be my favourite so far. I can't believe how much I fell in love with Damon and changed my opinion of him so completely. so we'll written and so well performed. can't wait for Wills turn now.

Damon and winter

omg Damon wasn't one of my favourite but he is now and the things he has been throught and can't wait to see what happens with him and winter

Loved it!

Great story as this continues with Damon and Winters story. the author once again ups the stakes and takes us on an even darker ride than the previous two. We get to hear the full horrors of Damon's earlier life and my opinion of the character went from pure hatred following his actions in the previous two books to actual liking him by the end. I feel he redeemed himself although not sure if I still completely trust him.

Narrative was one again flawless as this pair take on the evilest character in this series doing him justice whilst showing Winter to be the feisty determined woman she becomes despite being blind. A great audio!
