Publisher's summary

Amir Botros, the younger brother of Sheikh Tariq Botros, could not be more different from his brother. He is a notorious womanizer, but he may finally have met his match.

Soraya can't believe how the arrogant and obnoxious Amir Botros could be so rude! He is always showing up to her university or the restaurant where she works uninvited. He won't leave her alone and won't take no for an answer. So why is she so attracted to a man she knows she should hate?

To Amir, Soraya is fascinating. She is beautiful, elegant, and fiercely intelligent--very different from the dozens of other girls he has been with. She constantly pushes him away, rejects him in public, and refuses to return his calls. There is absolutely nothing he can do to make her smile. Not once has he been able to make her feel comfortable around him. She never lets her guard down around him.

But when he kisses her, she melts into his arms.... He can't figure her out. She is his biggest challenge. He knows one thing: he is not going to give up on her.

However, when he discovers Soraya is related to one of his closest friends, he'll have to decide how far he will go to win her over....

It's okay

So the story continues with Tariq & Sara's wedding. Overall I enjoyed the story. It is not at all realistic and did have trouble keeping my full attention. It reminds me more of a soap opera than anything else.

Still not overly impressed by the narration although she seems to do well with the pronunciation, from my untrained ears.

Good Story

This one was enjoyable yet I felt there was no chemistry on the end of the leading lady of the story. I felt her as a blank canvas with no emotion and she didn't really know how to act around the main leading man, Amir. I did feel the connection for Amir but almost as if he was trying a bit to hard. This particular story was just a bit harder for me to follow and finish.

Good storyline

Is there anything you would change about this book?

the narrator

Who was your favorite character and why?

Amir, because he is changing his ways for a smart and beautiful woman

Did Tanya Stevens do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No not at all, she doesn't separate the character personalities at all.

Could you see The Sheikh's Defiant Girlfriend being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

That would proabably be interesting, maybe a 2-day mini series.

Not a fan

I did not read the first book in this series This book focused on the wedding of Tariq and Sarah. The story of Amir seemed like an after thought story
