Love this series

I read this series years & years ago. I am glad I had the opportunity to listen to it now. With that being said, I won't listen again. For the most part I can listen to this narrator, but she is why I won't listen again. I knew I liked the series so I tolerated the narrator. Many have already commented on her lisp which I mostly noticed when she did the Scottish accent. The longer I listened the more it bothered me. And her New Orleans accent with Matthew in this book was terrible.
I'll be returning this series based on the narrator.

Loved yet another Nora Roberts book

I love so many of her books and this is yet another 5 star story and performance. At least I still have a few more to enjoy.

this book is one of the best books I have read in some time. it goes into detail it describes the place and the events and the city that makes you want to go there put you in the book itself is so well-written thank you Nora Roberts thank you so much.

Old Classic

Still a favourite of mine! A shorter love story which quirky characters that climbs to a heart-wrenching fever pitch! Beautiful ending and character development!

Would you listen to The Perfect Neighbor again? Why?

oh yes, this is a re listen as our gal Cyb is just so up lifting, she makes you smile. Now, if you don't want a listen to brighten your day, then this is not for you.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cyb and the MacGregor because they have optimism. It makes you realize, if you take the time, that having a positive go get'em attitude pays off.

What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?

She make all the males yummy sounding. She did a fab job on Preston our hero. She is the MacGregor come to life! I just love all the scenes he is in.

I purchased this entire series all at once as I am a big fan of Ms. Dawe. I have not purchased the other classic series N.R. has released due to poor readers.

Any additional comments?

this book makes your toes curl, makes you laugh, and cry as our heroine evokes all these emotions for a 90's classic N.R. book. Nothing heavy, but owning this entire series makes you smile big time.

I loved the whole series on the MacGregor.

family was very interesting. I love to have a grandfather like MacGregor, true to the family.

I love this other side of Nora Roberts’ writing. It’s funny, romantic & family-oriented. Looking forward to the next good read!

Once again Daniel sets up a couple in a very round about way. Even though the family knows of his meddling ways it takes them a while to see it happening to them.

The Macgregor Series

These books in the MacGregor series are fascinating and enjoyable. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me smile, and they make my heart feel the love that’s possible between two people and between family. I think this is one of Nora Roberts best series, although she has so many wonderful books, it is definitely hard to pick. I truly hope that Nora Roberts will continue this series. And I also love the In Death series by JD Robb. Those are absolutely thrilling and I hope she continues those as well. Thank you Mrs. Roberts for allowing me to have an enjoyable pass time.
