From author Thea Harrison comes the latest story in the New York Times best-selling Moonshadow trilogy....
Kidnapped while on tour, musician Sidonie Martel is transported to the mystical land of Avalon. A human without magical ability, she is completely vulnerable to the deadly forces surrounding her.
When she defies her captors and refuses to share her music, an act of violent cruelty leaves her broken, her ability to play silenced, maybe forever. Her only hope is a whisper in the dark, gentle hands that offer healing, and a man who refuses to show her his face yet who offers advice she dare not ignore.
One of the most feared and powerful sorcerers in history, Morgan le Fae serves a queen he despises, Isabeau of the Light Court. Once a famous bard and an advisor to kings, Morgan has been enslaved to Isabeau for hundreds of years, acting as enforcer and the commander of her deadly Hounds.
Sidonie's music touches Morgan in places he had abandoned centuries ago, and her fiery spirit resurrects feelings he had believed long dead. For Sidonie, trapped in captivity, passion offers a comfort she cannot resist.
But Isabeau holds Morgan bound in magical chains that only Death can break. And in the court of a cruel, jealous queen, the only thing that burns hotter than love is revenge...
It is often said that how they handle extreme circumstances can reveal a lot about a person. Morgan La Fae is a man of noble legend, yet somehow he has become infamous as nothing more than an evil Queen's weapon of mass destruction. Unexpectedly, all is not what as it seems because not only does Morgan have no regard for the Queen but it appears that he has been bound under a compulsion spell that requires him to follow all of the Queen's orders. When the Queen makes a careless order, Morgan used the opportunity to escape to Earth in hope of finding a way out from under the Queen's control.
Thinking that he has slipped the notice of all who would seek to return him to captivity with the Queen Morgan relaxes enough to go to a concert, to hear Sidonie Martel play the violin. Morgan instantly and astoundingly becomes enraptured with Sid's music and makes a point to go to all of her future concerts before she leaves for another city. Tragically, Morgan's interest in Sid did not go unnoticed and Sid was kidnapped, removed from Earth and placed at the not so tender mercy of the Queen.
I could go on and give a review of the story but a person can read that for themselves. For me the entire story is based upon the question of how much a person is willing to risk of their own personal safety to save someone that they had never known. It is the creative ways in which Ms. Harrison answers that question during the rest of the story that lets us know Morgan La Fea has always been a hero at heart.

Spellbinder: Moonshadow, Book 2
Written by: Thea Harrison
Narrated by: Sophie Eastlake
This may be book two but it can be read as a stand alone. This is an incredible book about a musician that is kidnapped because a fae named Morgan, who is bound magically by the evil Queen, likes her. She is given to the Queen. Morgan is furious and tries to save her without the Queen knowing about it. Morgan has to do anything the Queen says and is afraid if the Queen finds out, she will make him kill the girl. It is an action packed, suspense filled, romance, fantasy, magic, fae and other creatures, awesome book. I loved this book! It is an audible book and the narration was truly wonderful. It is a woman narrator but the deep husky voices are done perfectly too! Wow, great job. Loved the story and narration! Don't miss this story. Morgan is in the first book as a bad guy but now you see why!

I adore all of Thea Harrison's Elder Races books. I have all of them on audio and listen to them over and over again. The couples are all unique and interesting; their love is believable and endearing. Ms. Harrison writes stories the way Sid plays music in Spellbinder- Magnificent! What an intriguing end!

Wow, I never thought we'd get a story about Morgan, but this story really bites into the first in the series in a really circular route. Sid is a musical genius who becomes a pawn in a war that hover around the Sidhe traumatized historical battles. When Morgan and Sid find each other due to conflict firm another tortured victim love and passion binds them in a battle for their love and life.

This is a review of the audio book. Sophie Eastlake does another excellent job with the narration. Expressive and compelling she draws you into the story. The story itself revolved around Morgan and Sidonie. Learning Morgan's history, how he was compelled by the queen, roused sympathy for his plight. He is drawn to Sidonie and when she is kidnapped to be used against him he does what he can to help her. Sidonie is a very talented musician as well as intelligent and resourceful. Her ingenuity saves herself and Morgan in the end. Love the strong characters that want to do right.

Spellbinder spins off from the characters in Moonshadow. Love how Ms Harrison's writings follow characters from one book to another. Dragos from the Elder Races series even makes a cameo appearancee. Love all her stories and characters. I buy everything she writes and anxiously await her next book.
This is one of the best telling of Merlin that I have encountered. Please don't stop writting Thea.
I love all her books. So interesting and diferente. You will never get bored. I really like the ending.
I didn’t know how you could redeem Morgan but Thea did it. I love her writing and this story was perfect. Another couple in the saga and she brought them into Dragos territory. I love how she connects all the books. The love that built between Sid and Morgan was real and un-rushed. Puc deserved a little more payback for the harm he caused even if it led Sid to her mate. Bravo this was so worth the credit. I only wish Thea wrote faster so I could buy more books.
If you could sum up Spellbinder in three words, what would they be?
Good strong story and characters, spoilt for me by all the sex.It is strong enough to stand without that.
