the dark side of a childhood story

loved the narrator and the emotion she was able to portray. would definitely recommend

I love this twist on Beauty and the Beast

The beginning pulls you in, wondering what on earth happened. Why was the main character marrying a prince that feared and hated her. There were a bunch of plot twists and I was very happy with the ending. I am relieved that the second book is also included with the audible membership and I look forward to listening it it next

Cannot stand the narrator, but like the book

The narrator has such a start/stop way of speaking. It makes her speech very staccato.
Very delighted for a free book from Amazon. Seems like it’s best for young adults, but I still enjoy it!

One of those great surprises

love this story, I got it for a drive listen and ended up binging it while cleaning house too. I couldn't stop. I love the story reader's voice and storytelling.

Cute story, not a fan of the reader

This book has a cute story, but it felt like the ending was rushed and I would have loved to bask in the “happily ever after” longer. I didn’t really like the reader’s voice or diction.
