Publisher's Summary

Danica and Kaylie Snow are about to celebrate the biggest day of their lives - their double wedding - on an island in the Bahamas. But no wedding is complete without a little family drama. The two sisters aren't ready to face the father they haven't seen since he divorced their mother and moved away to marry his mistress and live with Lacy, the half sister they've never met.

While Danica has exchanged letters and phone calls with Lacy, Kaylie has fervently tried to pretend she doesn't exist. Lacy is sweet, fun, and nearly a mirror image of Kaylie. To make matters worse, not only is Lacy looking forward to meeting her sisters, but she idolizes them, too. As the countdown to the wedding date ticks on, their parents are playing a devious game of revenge, and there's a storm brewing over the island, threatening to cancel their perfect wedding. The sisters are about to find out if the bond of sisterhood really trumps all.

    "Love Story to the Max"
What did you love best about Sisters in White?

I love the fact that it is full of love, laughter, chaos, and family (though not all blood). Melissa Foster has a way of writing a story and B.J. Harrison narrates the story wonderfully, with inflections and just keeps the listener enthralled.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that it's not perfect. So many stories are just perfect and that is not realistic. This book has the perfect balance of romantic, family drama, humor, and utter chaos. It keeps the listener entertained and wanting to listen for 5 more minutes, which turns into 30 minutes, or an hour longer.

What about B.J. Harrison’s performance did you like?

His inflections and the way he changes his tone for different characters makes the story so much better for me. I love it!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried many times throughout the book, more laughter than tears.

What made the experience of listening to Sisters in White the most enjoyable?

I first read this book in print but I have to say I really enjoyed listen to this book.

What other book might you compare Sisters in White to and why?

Sisters in White is the third book in this series, Snow Sisters. It is the story of double wedding of Danica & Blake and Kaylie & Chaz. Set in the beautiful Bahamas, this is the first book that we heard about some of the delicious Bradens - Treat and Dane. We also meet Lacy - Danica and Kaylie's little sister.

What does B.J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator does a fine job being Melissa's words to live. The one suggestion I would make is remember to wear head phones or listen in private some of the scenes are hot!

    Any additional comments?

This book is wonderful as a stand alone story but take my word start at the beginning as you will fall in love with these characters and all the ones to come. Enjoy!

    "Drama filled Sisters in White"

Loved the narration of BJ Harrison in this drama filled continuation in the Love in Bloom series. Some of the drama makes you laugh and some makes you want to cry but this book has it all. This book focuses on the weddings of Danica and Kaylie Snow. Add in an estranged father, a sister they have never met and spouse-to-be family members and you have a recipe for challenges and drama. This series just keeps getting better and better. Melissa Foster's story as read by BJ Harrison is top notch!

    "AMAZING!"
Would you listen to Sisters in White again? Why?

Yes! I read this book for the first time a few years ago. I enjoyed the chance to go back and read the story again! I drive quite a bit sometimes and it's nice to be able to listen to a story while I do that. I really enjoyed the narration on it, BJ Harrison did just as good of a job on this one as he did the others. I can't wait to tackle the next book! I reread the others in this series before and I was so, so excited to get to finish the story of the two sisters and their happily ever after! I've been working my way through the audiobooks and let me tell you, they're worth it. So so so good. The narration is amazing and only adds to the story. Listening to an audiobook is an amazing perspective of this story and I can't wait to continue my way through the series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, this book is fun to listen to and has a great story with lots of sub-stories going on throughout!

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed all of the different stories going on within the larger story. Treat & Max, Lacy, Danica and Kaylie's parts...they all kept the story fun and intriguing.

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

I enjoy listening to B.J. reading Kaylie which is interesting because usually enjoy females for female characters. He did a great job of showing Kaylie's attitude and emotion.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I think I listened to it in 2-3 sessions while traveling!

    Any additional comments?

I have enjoyed listening to the Snow Sisters books after reading them in print when first released. I can honestly read and/or listen to Melissa's books over and over!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Sisters in White is the ending of the Snow sisters being the main characters. In true Melissa factor this book didn't disappoint. We get to meet the Braden's. From there this whole world is opened up. <br/>Danica and Kaylie will always hold a special place as they were my first characters that's made me fall in love with Melissa as an author.<br/>Onto the audiobook. As in the other audiobooks I've listened to by Melissa, BJ does a great job. He picked up on the emotions and inflections of the characters and their feelings. His voice is also very soothing. Can't wait to listen to the next one.

"4 "Weddings, Revenge?, and New Beginnings" Stars!"

4 "Weddings, Revenge?, and New Beginnings" Stars for the story and narration!

Sisters in White, book 3 in the Snow Sisters Series, brings together the whole family in a fitting conclusion to this series, while at the same time giving us a taste of what's to come in the spin-off series, The Bradens. I enjoyed listening to the Snow sisters, Danica and Kaylie, finally achieve their HEA down the aisle while at the same time getting to know other secondary characters who are sure to play a part in future books to come. Additionally Ms. Foster kept us on the edge of our seats with family saga style adventures (somewhat akin, for those of you who were around then, to the escapades that I loved so much from the 1980's night-time soap operas of Dynasty and Dallas). These side plot lines really kept you guessing as to everyone's true motivations and connections and served as a great, intriguing side story to the romance.

A dual wedding for the couples of Danica and Blake and Kaylie and Chaz has been scheduled and the whole extended family has been invited. However, this large guest list has tensions running high as Danica and especially Kaylie get prepared to mingle with their father (who they have avoided after discovering his affair and second family), as well as, their step-sister, Lacey, and "the other woman" (Lacey's mother) Madeline among the many other guests. Additionally, both sisters must also deal with and resolve their own reservations about love, marriage, and indeed, in Danica's case, even her own reservations with being more uninhibited in the bedroom.

However, these are not the only stories we are treated to as we also begin to see that with love being in the air--this is a wedding after all--other secondary characters are also starting to show interest in one another. One in particular that caught my eye was the connection between Max Armstrong, Chaz's right-hand work companion (or "work wife" as she's referred to in the book) and Treat Braden, the owner of the luxurious resort where the dual weddings are taking place (and also a cousin of Blake's). So I'm extra happy to say that we will be treated to more of their chemistry in Book 1 of the Bradens, Lovers at Heart.

BJ Harrison returns as narrator and does a good job with the narration. Mr. Harrison doesn't provide a ton of differentiation between characters, so you will need to listen for dialogue tags, but he does have a soothing voice and good pacing which allows you to sit back and listen to the story. Additionally, I liked that Mr. Harrison returned as narrator for this story in that he provided consistency across the two prior books. Given that this is really the conclusion of those books, it allowed me to easily go back to those stories with minimal need to refresh the background in my head because the sound of his voice helped trigger flashbacks that easily allowed me to remember the setting.

All in all, if you enjoy books that combine women's fiction with romance, especially those that contain family drama and conflict resolution, then the Snow Sisters series may just be the next listen you were looking for.

    "Another great one"

Well BJ Harrison is definitely keeping up with a worthy performance of Melissa Fosters books. So far I have enjoyed his reading of Sisters in White the most. I loved how he changed from character to character and loved when he read as Camille's mom- hilarious. The story itself I will keep saying I want to smack both girls sometimes then others I laugh at them. WTG Mrs. Foster again you have written a fantastic story and it was great to have it read to me by a fantastic voice. Thanks!!!!! I look forward to more.

    "A wonderfully eventful tropical wedding!!!"
What did you love best about Sisters in White?

I loved getting to see both of the main couples we meet in the first 2 books Danica & Blake and Kaylie & Chaz, finally make it to their happily ever after moment in certainly not your typical wedding. I also enjoyed meeting their sister Lacie, Dane Braden and of course Treat Braden. With each book we meet more characters and get interested in getting to know them too. <br/>

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sisters in White?

I would have to say when Danica passes out on the elevator right before they are supposed to leave for the island wedding.

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

Blake. I love how he voices him as sexy and playful yet still deeply considerate and caring.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would love to do that but life doesn't allow that so I listen in my car and when I'm cleaning. I love it!

    Any additional comments?

Even though I read the book years ago, listening to it was a wonderful way to go back and remember just why I loved it the first time!

"A good conclusion to the Snow sisters"

This was a good conclusion to the Snow sisters books in the Love in Bloom series. I liked how the story itself picked up three years later in the series giving the characters time to grow more. I liked seeing the introduction of more characters that eventually build on the Love in Bloom series as well as the return of the characters from the previous books. The plot of the story moved along well and was well written.
The narration of this story was performed by the same narrator as the previous two books and was presented well. I think that the narrator did well with the addition of the new characters in distinguishing between the new and old characters. The performance was well presented and clear.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    "BJ Harrison delivered this amazingly"

I love this book anyway but B.J. makes the book come alive. It is so great that both of these sisters are finally getting married but the antics that happen are funny and at times heart wrenching especially when Kaylie and Danica meet there half sister Lacy for the first time.Totally recommended
