Publisher's summary

Diego Santiago has been undercover too long. What began as a simple mission to gain revenge for his younger brother's death has become an abyss of conflicted loyalties and evil deeds done for the "greater good". He's begun to question his ability to see a future beyond the darkness. But when his plan to take down El Jefe, the mysterious leader of a human trafficking ring, leads him to the woman he's loved from the shadows for years, he needs to decide where his ultimate loyalty lies.

Nora Damon has poured blood, sweat, and tears into establishing herself as a capable adult, no longer fettered by the childhood trauma that haunts her. As a social worker for Centered, a women's shelter and holistic healing center in downtown Boston, she has devoted herself to helping clients and friends overcome adversity and claim their own happiness. But one night, when a traumatized girl leads her back to Diego, Nora must face her fears, her painful past, and the bad boy she cannot have.

How does a grown woman call a man Daddy and not lose her self-respect? How can an undercover operative protect the woman he loves without compromising his mission? Is Nora brave enough to claim her own happiness? Can Diego overcome the darkness he's mired in, and rise above his sins to find his redemption?

Fantastic end to a series

I hate to see this series end, but what a sensual and explosive end. Diego has been undercover in a crime infested world so long that he never sees himself in a normal relationship especially with a woman like Nora. Due to a painful past Nora's self esteem is low. I love how the authors allow us to see into the characters' journey of reconciling with their past in order to move forward with their future. This will be difficult and even dangerous. They are definitely a couple that you can't help but cheer for them. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and sexually explosive. The narrator nailed his narration of this story. He holds the listener's attention from the beginning to the end. I really enjoyed listening to him. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book and the entire series.

Emotional

The last book in the Boston Dom series and even though I am sad to see this series end, this book is a wonderful way to end the series. This is the story of Diego and Nora.

After so many years undercover Diego doesn’t know what it is like to love and thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness. Until Nora, she is the light in his darkness and he will do anything to take care of her and to keep her her safe, like only a Daddy can. Nora fought hard for her independence; giving it up is not an easy decision to make.

There is a wonderful connection between Diego and Nora and I loved their banter, the spankings and sexy and wild lovemaking. The perfect ending to the Boston Dom books

Sad to see it end!

The last book in this series gives story the well deserved ending, at the same time leaves me with a sadness that this group of people I have grown to love is now settled and the story is over. Diego and Nora are the focus of this story, finally giving them the chance to get together since Diego saved her from Salazar's clutches. The two are explosive together and Nora takes to the lifestyle with ease, loving her "daddy". As Diego wraps up his undercover work, finding El Jefe, and saving the life of young Camila, we get our chance to see the members of our family work together. Between crooked cops, important fundraisers, keeping the girls safe and keeping the trust of Salazar's gang, Diego has his work cut out for him. Archer and Henry have created gold with their Boston Dom's, and the twists and turns will keep you guessing til the end.

Ken Solon finishes up the narration with his alpha male sound, giving Diego the strength necessary to complete his mission. The continuity of Ken keeps the voices consistent and its makes it feel like family.
