Very good.

Very good. The narrator showed the surleyness of Trygg and the haughtiness of Tamsia with her voice.

A Very Busy Story

There was a lot going on in this book it is obviously tied to other books in the series. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and the story can get confusing. But otherwise the basic story is good and performance is excellent.

Midnight Unleashed Book 15.5

Covers the story about the Gen One Warrior who was freed from one bondage only to enter into another without knowing. But as the case went on, he was able to free himself from the hands of his prisoner and turn his life to the order where he started to work to earn his freedom. So, as he was doing his best to make a differences within his branch under the Rome commander known as Lazaro Archer. The Gen One warrior is known as Trygg while he was within his assignment, he notice a light from where he was observing from afar. The men that works for another drug pushers by the name Roberto Santino. He was looking for an information that was stolen by one of his men who has just disappeared. They were shadowing the man’s woman who has just gone into a female shelter for protection for her child and herself. Unknown to Rosa, that she possessed within the gift that the father of her child gave her. Did had something that their master wants and it has been stolen from him. She was killed by one of the rogue who was supposed to bring her or collects that items that they were looking for. Trygg went to find out what was the caused of the light and the noise that came with the light inside the female shelter. Forced to work together, Trygg’ s protective instincts come to the fore-front, even though Sia doesn’t need his protection. And, Sia’s temper has never been tested this much. Neither has her want for another man. A Breed … the enemy of Atlantis … has stolen her heart and now she’ll do whatever it takes to keep him safe … even give up her dreams of returning to Atlantis. I enjoy reading novella’s. They get to the point and the flow of the story is always fast and furious. Lara Adrian, even with this being a novella, let us get to know both Trygg and Sia, understand what they were thinking and why. She wrote a compelling story about two very different people, their wants and needs and brought them together in an amazing climax that ensured they would never leave each other’s sides. It’s amazing how Lara Adrian can give us intense romantic suspense, realistic characters, and a love story in such a short book

Entertaining series

I always enjoy the books in this series; some more than others. With this one, I didn't feel the connection between the characters as much as I would like. Actually, I didn't really connect with the characters either. I didn't really care for Tamisia before this book, so I was hoping she would be redeemed in this book, but she didn't quite get there for me. She was okay, but still needed more development. There are some steamy moments between Tamisia and Trygg, and I always enjoy the bits of action in these stories. Overall, the read is entertaining and I will continue with the series. I really love a lot of the books, so I'd recommend this series. I listened on Audible, and enjoyed the narration. The narrator did a good job.
