I totally forgot I had this book in my library so when I found it I listened right away and I'm really glad I did. This is a well written entertaining romantic comedy that had me laughing and smiling a lot. The characters are delightfully quirky and are full of surprises. It's the kind of feel-good book that's perfect when you want a quick listen. It's charming, fun, and romantic. I definitely won't hesitant to read more books by this author. 💕
The narration was done very well. His voice was clear & concise and the accents were great.
Note: There are no warnings for this book. It's a clean read. 👍

This was my first book by Rich Amooi, and narration by Michael Ferraiuolo. I was very impressed by both.
Amooi style of writing was fun, comical, and entertaining, following Lilliana after she receives her insane fortune and starts her adventure. She miraculously survives each hilarious mishap with her dates and adventures with Marco. Marco has the best intention! He's trying to teach Lilliana to be spontaneous, and live in the moment, but his best intentions don't always go as smoothly as planned, and poor Lilliana seems to be the one who suffers. From meals filled with lactose, bathrooms with no TP, to swimming with jelly fish, she forced to face each situation with anything but grace. Lillian is quick to remind Marco it's all his fault from deviating from her comfort zone or talking her into something she would not normally partake in. However, along the way, they fall madly in love with each other.
Ferraiuolo performance was SPECTACULAR! I loved how he portrayed the characters, emotions and accents (especially the accents). He really brought the story to life, and made it even more enjoyable. I will definitely be checking out other books narrated by him.
I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review, and really enjoyed the story, characters and narrations! I would definitely consider other stories by Amooi, and recommend to anyone who loves a clean, funny romance with great characters.

Any additional comments?
The setting takes place in San Francisco and Italy.
Lilliana, the female lead, is told by a psychic that her future husband is in Rome.
The story line takes off with the flight to Italy where she meets Marco, the male lead, on the plane.
I liked Lilly and understood her fear of spontaneity and thought that Marco was perfect for her.
The story moved along at a quirky and quick pace which ended up being a sweet and funny read.
Michael Ferraiuolo did well with the narration..

This made me want to go to Italy 😃
It was a cute rom com read. The beautiful backdrop of Italy added a nice setting (and good travel tips!). The end was fun & paved the way for a possible second book.
The narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo, had a nice Italian accent. He also did a great job with keeping it light throughout the whole story, which made it enjoyable.

The story was cute and ended in an HEA. The narrator was amazing. The stories heroine however was less than entertaining. She was too uptight, too annoying. too much, a human Eeyore I couldn't connect with. Having said that, the other characters brought light and happiness to the story, which made it a pleasant experience.

A cute story about finding "the one." Lilly is a bit too uptight for my liking, but she does soften up near the end. Marco is adorable, but has very little character growth in the story.
Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job narrating the story. Great timing and his character voices were pretty distinct.

What did you love best about Lilliana Jones and the Temple of Groom?
This is my 3rd Amooi story I've had the pleasure of listening to. Mr. Amooi knows how to weave humor and romance into a tale. I listened to this story with my teenage son. We both enjoyed the storytelling and story very much.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lilliana Jones and the Temple of Groom?
Too many to list. Pure joy!
Have you listened to any of Michael Ferraiuolo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but Mr. Ferraiuolo did a fantastic job. Great comedic timing. It sounded like he had fun with this production.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes

I found this book sweet. I enjoyed hearing about places I had recently been and the silly misadventures of this romance. It was not very long but it packed in all the things that made it work. Not filled with steamy sex or dropping f bomb every other word made its perfect little summer read. The characters are well developed for such a short read and I really feel in love with their charm. I received this book for free in order to get an honest review.

This book was hilarious, romantic, and quite cheesy too. Impressively though, it wasn't overly cheesy, not enough to have you cringing, but enough to make you smile. Note: the funnier moments will make you cringe. Just thinking about the bathroom mishap has me biting my lips. Ugh- it was comically horrendous.
This was a sweet story; I didn't like pressing pause whenever reality interrupted, and I sure as hell didn't want the story to end. In some ways, it was only just getting started.
The story follows the lives of two young individuals- romantics- who are in serious need of a love life. There's Liliana, a woman with her whole life planned, plans which she religiously follows. She hates spontaneity, and for good reason: she's had her share of experiences involving men who make spur-of the-moment decisions to 'find themselves'. Then there's Marco, a man who prides himself on living in the moment. How will their paths cross? Will they get along? All of this happens in the beautiful country: Italy. As someone who has studied a huge portion of Italy's history, in reference to the Renaissance, and has spent hours trying to pick up the language, this book was well appreciated. The tourist attractions and everything, wow. Did you know Italy created chocolate? Italy is a dream destination for all chocolate lovers. My Italian teacher told me that once. She'd give us chocolates during our lessons, it was wonderful.
Anyway, this was a great book. I've always been a fan of those first moments when a person meets someone. Just magical, when they make someone smile. First meetings are adorable, and I have to say the plane journey was entertaining but also heart melting. To reveal your deepest secrets, unknowingly, to someone you've only just met... Can you imagine?
I don't know what more to say: read this book, better yet take a listen. The narration adds far more to the story. You'll enjoy it, I guarantee it.

Firstly, this has nothing whatsoever to do with Indiana Jones. That said, it is an absurdly funny, definitely quirky romance. You cannot help but like Marco's enthusiasm and wonder at his sanity because Lillianna is nothing if not absolutely crazy. But their relationship works really well and has major feel good factor along with several cringe-worthy moments. I especially enjoyed their jaunt through Italy and all the madness that ensued. The narration was spot on and matched the characters and story perfectly.
