I absolutely loved this book!! The Audible really brings this story to life!! I would recommend this book to everyone!

Loving this series!

I loved this story! Everly Dalton goes from dating disasters to dating her boss. Though she seems to have two left feet when it comes to dating, Everly is the best assistant Shepherd Calloway has ever had. She's efficient, hard-working, smart, and takes care of everything at the office. When Shepherd is in need of a fake girlfriend to help ward off his ex-girlfriend, he can only think to call his assistant. When Everly gets Shepherd's call, she's at a loss, but being the consummate professional she is, she gets dressed and shows up at an awards gala to escort her boss. What Shepherd sees in the office is not the same woman that's walking up to him. How has he never noticed how beautiful she is? Because he's focused on work and rarely looks her in the eye.

When their fake couple status needs to be extended, that's when the fun and eye-opening begins. Shep and Everly get to know each other outside of the office, and they're both pleasantly surprised at what they discover. This was a wonderful, beautiful love story, and I loved seeing Shep with his layers peeled back. Both Shep and Everly's family and friends are a hoot and so supportive of them. They're lucky to have them all in their corners.

Jason Clarke does a fantastic job as the complicated Shepherd Callaway, and Emma Wilder is so delightful narrating Everly Dalton.

Shephard, is a man who is swearing off women.
All they do is use him for his money.
He has just broken up with his latest fling and sent her off on a nice vacation.
The only problem is, she went after his father, who happens to own a resort.

Everly Dalton, is an assistant for the illusive Shephard Calloway.
She had survived three years. No one has ever done that.
She is like a breath of fresh air.
Everyone loves her with her bright smile and captivating personality, what's not to love.
When her boss asks her to step in as his girlfriend she does it.
Her sister has her sights set on Shephard, as possibly being a sperm donor, and asked her, to help broker the deal.
Everly, has had one dating disaster after another, so when her boss asked her to move in, because his father will be moving in with him also due to financial woes and cancer and along with seeing his ex who he believes is just using his dad to get close to him, she figures why not. It can't be any worse than her dating disasters.
Only one problem, when Shephard starts to feel, he lets his guard down with Everly.
Everly, also can't help but fall for the real man Shephard is showing her that he really is.
This is a happy ever after story with a great storyline. It has all the feels.

Jason Clarke, is such a great narrator. He just seems to pull you into the story and his voice is so smooth.

Emma Wilder has awesome voice personalities. I love when she reads the male version and every single character gets to have their own voice. It's so refreshing.

I'm really looking forward to this whole series. 🙂

Is it hot in here???

I absolutely loved this story when I originally read the book and the audiobook is no different. Maybe I love it more. Chapter 20?! The bonus epilogue?! Somebody crank the AC because those two chapters are hot! Love the narrations from Jason Clarke & Emma Wilder.
