Jack

Onstage, I f--king kill it. I'm Jack Harris, a world-class DJ, with a $100 million offer on the table. I never have to ask for what I want. I get it, anywhere, anytime, anyone. After breaking up with my on-again, off-again girlfriend, I seize an opportunity when I see it. Sweet Tess, sitting there all alone, is ready to get swept off her feet. If only for just one night. I don't expect the paparazzi to show up the next morning, and I don't expect Tess to have secrets that make her run from the press. But damn, I want to protect that girl. I need to protect that girl. And I won't let anyone stand in my way.

Tess

Look, I know it's foolish to imagine Jack Harris ever falling for a cocktail waitress like me - but I can't help it...that bad boy is hot. When he offers me a night I'll never forget, I'm all in. This is my wildest dream come true. One look at his naked body and I know he is going to deliver. And he does, over and over again. But after, when he cradles me in his arms, holds me tightly and kisses me softly, I know that we could be something more than a one-night stand. Except I'm not the innocent girl Jack thinks I am. I have secrets, blood on my hands, and I will do anything to keep my past buried. But it's catching up to me faster than I can run.

Jack of hearts!

I love this series but this book was not the best. It was tied in a bow a little too perfect in the end (too many unbelievable twists). Plenty of hot, steamy sex which I enjoyed. The conflicts were too silly. I was glad for the HEA. Some of my favorite narrators not disappointing me. I wish I could have purchased this on sale. Would I use the credit? Yes, just to for the conclusion of the series.

GREAT STORY.. & I'M SAD THIS SERIES HAS FINISHED

So Jack and Tess aye? Well I didn't see that coming from the previous three books in this awesome series about the four powerful friends that make up the Las Vegas Bad Boys who, once they meet their soul-mates, go above and beyond to claim, protect and get their women. One by one we've seen the casino owner, the English heir and the star stripper change their wicked ways and fall in love.. so now, in the finale to the series, it's time for Jack, the famous DJ, to drop his high maintenance psycho girlfriend and finally see Tess.

In the past Jack and Tess have just been acquaintances brought together whenever the ever-growing tight group of friends meet, party or need help.. but it's Jack that needs help now - from his ex girlfriend who isn't loving her 'ex' status. He uses Tess as a barrier and an excuse to escape his needy ex and Tess is all too happy to play his fake date because, for the last few months, she's been crushing on this hot DJ. And it only took the right setting and the right time to let Jack see what had been under his nose the whole time.. the right woman.

Tess may be the right woman for Jack but she's got some serious baggage in her past which she's running from and it only takes one Paparazzi photo to bring that threat back into her life. But her situation also brings a trusted confidante, a sympathetic shoulder to cry on, a passionate lover and a knight in shining armour to stand by her side and protect her.. Jack becomes her everything.

When the 'fake' became a reality they'd agreed to only one night - however their chemistry made an instant connection and I didn't have a problem with that.. BUT I did think there was a wee bit too much sex.. just a little.. a few scenes.. not a lot.. a drop in the ocean of orgasms really. Jack was the perfect selfless, caring, protective hero and Tess was a strong yet vulnerable heroine who'd gone through so much - and the shocking twist that Frankie Love weaved in was a clever stroke of brilliance. Great supportive secondary characters from the previous books along with some fresh new faces as the friends are joined by some of their parents. Overall a very enjoyable and entertaining dual POV storyline with only a couple of cringe-worthy moments when his 'rod' and her 'juices' were way too much unnecessary detail. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell were the perfect duo to bring Frankie Love's story to life because these two deliver on so many levels.

Worth a credit? Yes it would've been, but because all the books in this series are realistically and generously priced at under $10, I just bought it and saved my credit for the next book that's going to tempt me.

Great finale!

I had been eagerly awaiting this audiobook in the Vegas Bad Boy series by Frankie Love. I sure wasn't disappointed in Jack's book at all! The series is neatly ties together and all four of the guys in the series get a "happily ever after" with the girls of their dreams. Jack is a very interesting character and the heroine has secrets of her own that complicate their relationship. Narration was excellent!

Hard to get through.

I skipped through much of the story because it was just hard to listen to all of it without being bored and tears. At times I did have to chuckle because the writing sounded juvenile.

Maxine Mitchell

Would you be willing to try another one of Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell ’s performances?

I gave a low rating for the performance not because of Joe Arden but because of Maxine Mitchell. Her voice is incredibly annoying and it has been the same in each book. Joe Arden is really great and changes the tone and inflection in his voice based on the character. With Maxine, it is hard to tell which character she is reading. The only reason why I bought all the audio books in this series is I have a long commute to work and it makes it go by faster. In the future, I will think twice about purchasing an audio book that Maxine Mitchell is narrating. Sorry Maxine, you need to take some lessons from Joe Arden on how to narrate a book.
