Very Deep, Emotional and a bit too drawn out...

I love A.L. Jackson’s books. Some of them go so deep into emotional description which a lot of times is just way to much.
This book is one of them.
I wish the descriptions of their feelings for each other, the way she sleeps, the way she breathes, the sun rising, the waves, etc. weren’t so long and descriptive.
There was a lot of eye rolling.
Elizabeth and Christian struggle again as they get back together for the 2nd and 3rd time.
The way it was written is a very back and forth with time and I don’t mind that, but this was annoying. You don’t find out why they break up in this book until half way through.
When you do find out, what follows is hard to listen too.
Just not my favorite A. L. Jackson Book.
I would have been happy at stopping at Book Two in this series.

I felt as if I had run 20 miles in a sweat suit by the end of the book.

This book was exhausting. So many ups and downs. So much upset, love and sadness. I adored the romance series of Elizabeth and Christian. The story telling was amazing. They were so much in love how could they have any problems? Nothing worthwhile is easy. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a challenge.

feel

it truly needed two separate narrators, it was odd and sometimes confusing having the same narrators.

Al Jackson is one of my favorite authors.

I found this story more depressing and darker than his usual novels although the ending very dramatic. the ending almost made up for the struggle I went through with the characters . I enjoyed the ending but I would say this is probably one of my least favorite of his books.
Al Jackson will continue to be one of my favorite authors. really awesome ending!

The Forever Ending

After all thier struggles, the sad-tinged story turns joyous in the series finale. The talent of author AL Jackson to swirl conflicting emotions into one love story is amazing. The narration by Arndt was solid again. One of my favorite authors with one of my favorite narrators is a good combination. I strongly recommend this series to all New Adult Romance lovers.

What a bitch !!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who feels sorry for themselves !! They acted like their love or sorrow or loss is beyond the human race!

Has If Forever Comes turned you off from other books in this genre?

I don't know ... The whole book was nothing but whining or sorrow sure hard things happen but hard things happen for everyone !! I have lost a baby and I didn't blame my husband for it !! She was such a bitch if I was Christian I would tossed her to the curb she flipping blamed him for everything !! And he all did was pine or fight for her she was pathetic what's to like or fight for she was abnoxious !!

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

No the narration was fine

What character would you cut from If Forever Comes?

All of them!!!

Any additional comments?

So not realistic !! Love is not like this u have ups and downs not cataclysmic oh my god no one could understand our love blah blah blah to cheesy !!!
