SAD To See It End

Really, really enjoyed this series. If you enjoy a murder mystery and a great love story with some hunky good looking guys then this series is for you.

What disappointed me was the abrupt ending. The first two books ended with cliff hangers and then this one just "ENDED".....needed just a little more character info at the end.

Oh and just a little fyi...the sex (what sex) happens, it just happens behind closed doors.

Even with "no" sex scenes and the cliff hanging endings and The End of this book just ENDED, I still say it's a good series...the author just needs to work on her endings. When she has built such strong and interesting characters she needs to at least let us know "how" they ride off into the sunset and on which horse (so to speak).

Love this!

I usually read more thriller/mystery novels, but I was looking for a change and I really lucked out! This series is much more than just a romantic story, but more a twisted tale I couldn't get enough of! Absolutely loved it and finished it in 1 day.

I Was Exhaled with the Royals

I couldn't stop once I started listening to this book. I'd been waiting since I finished book two! This picked up right where that ended and the suspense and action were nearly non-stop. Who knew life as a royal could be fraught with such dangers? Add in the bits of romance and this series absolutely has me charmed.

Dawe performed excellent as a narrator. I've enjoyed listening to the entire series, each book taking another turn towards the HEA.

Excellent all the way!

Another awesome/fabulous performance from Angela Dawe! This series is one of the best I ever read since I started reading contemporary romance books. Ms. Bourdon's enchanting mind brought this series into fusion that provided lasting awe to readers and with Ms. Dawe's magical voice, and the result is a power house of talents.

PERFECT FOR A MINI SERIES!

It's rare that I come across a series where the 2nd, 3rd, and so on book is as good as or better than it's previous book. (Does that make sense)? I've gotten to where I actually avoid series where all the books are based on the same couple, because they are always disappointing after the 1st book.

I have listened to close to a 1,000 books and this is the first time I've said a 'book series' would make a great mini series for tv. It's that good.

This book is full of drama, suspense, intrigue, mystery and romance. It moves at a fast pace and doesn't have a lot of inner dialogue or reiteration, which is very annoying to me. There's no cliffhanger but there is a lot to look forward to in book 4 The King Takes a Bride.

If you've listened to Heir Untamed and; King and Kingdom you will not be disappointed with Heir in Exile.

Danielle Bourdon is a new favorite author of mine. She knows how to write a series. All of the books are in print if you don't want to wait for the audio.

Angela Dawe has become a favorite performer of mine. She creates male and female voices for many characters and each is distinguishable.

Worth a credit/$$ Absolutely. I'll listen to this series over and over. It's a keeper!
