Publisher's Summary

Valora Delos is a hunter, charged with tracking the treacherous Soulstealers and bringing them to justice. Unlike the other fae of her kind, Valora was born with stunted wings that render her flightless, driving her to prove herself in the eyes of King Aric - whom she has been infatuated with since she first set eyes on him as a young prince.

She descends to Earth and finds herself trapped in suburban Seattle after the portal to her world closes. With the help of a sexy half-fae named Dooley, Valora must find her way back in order to save Dell'Aria. Dooley uses his own brand of magic to help Valora discover memories buried deep within her, which only produces more questions than answers - questions about her growing attraction to Dooley and her devotion to her King.

Uncovering who the Soulstealers are and who is behind the destruction of Dell'Aria, brings Valora a truth she may not be ready to handle.

Surprise Story

If you could sum up Fae Hunter in three words, what would they be?

I have a bad habit of putting off a book at times but once I started this story I couldn't stop listening to it. I love the relationships and friendships made in this story and the action was good. At first I thought ok how is this going to work but I have to say it turned out to be an exciting and leaving you want more story. I do look forward to the next one. I do recommend it to others.

Choppy Narration

This story was not bad, but the cadence of the narration was so choppy it was difficult to listen to.

Narration is just aweful

The story was great but the narrators inflections and pauses are almost unbearable. For example "Damn it! Get down everyone" is read like "Damn it get down (pause) everyone". As much as I enjoyed the story, the narrator really ruined it. Not worth the credit, buy the $1.99 kindle instead.

Nice!

What made the experience of listening to Fae Hunter the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed the unknown! The story was different than any other Fae book I've read. So it was a mystery.

Would you listen to another book narrated by S. A. Archer?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Loved this book! Can't wait for the 2nd!

Action & Romance

Any additional comments?

Nicolette Reed did a great job with this story! I found myself drawn in so much that I could not stop listening! I love a good action packed scene in the beginning and you sure do get one with this story. Nicolette Reed builds the scenes for you so well that you feel like you are walking with Valora (I am dying to find out what an ice fruit tastes like). Overall I feel that this is a great action adventure story with a compelling romance (added bonus sexy scenes!) and if this is your genre or even if it's not and you feel like giving something new a try, then you should check this story out.

I kept hoping...

Not sure what target audience this is for... I would have said young children- but then the sex scenes??
Juvenile story and juvenile reading that I kept thinking would get better and it never did.
