Publisher's Summary

Lead guitarist of the Dark Troubadours, Dayan was renowned for his mesmerizing performances. His melodies stilled crowds, beckoned, seduced. And always, he called to her to complete him. Corinne Wentworth stood at the vortex of a gathering storm. Pursued by the fanatics who'd murdered her husband, she was risking her life by keeping more than one secret. Fragile, delicate, vulnerable, she had an indomitable faith that made her fiery surrender to Dayan all the more powerful.

Finally-Dayan's story!

12th novel/novella in the Dark/Carpathian series, and one of my favorites! I like the creativity of the storyline- the who, what, where of Corrine and their challenges. I generally like "earthy" ;;)) stories, but it's nice to include storylines not quite so "earthy". It gives Feehan's creativity the opportunity to shine.

Good listen

Little repetitive, but a better narrator than the last book. Even with bad narrators, it's a good series. I like when they crossover to the other families.

Good narrative

Dark Melody is a sweet story, with a good narrative, although with a slow development of the plot. although with a slow development of the plot.
It is an interesting book, considered the unfolding of the series. But it's not my favorite. Hardly it’s a book I’d want to listen again.

By far the most touching, of the series

This story is so touching. The Heroine suffers from heart failure and is also pregnant. She cannot be converted until the baby is delivered and ,therefore, the Hero and Heroine's relationship cannot progress in the usual way. However, their relationship grows deep due to sacrifice and hope. I shed more than a few tears. Definitely worth a credit.
