A Sister's Story - Secrets in a Basket

The readers are wonderful, make the story come alive. This is a story mostly for women with sisters, but anyone could enjoy it. It's long, but kept my interest all the way, waiting for the secrets to be revealed. Karen White a good writer, but this is my first book by her.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like about it.

Very decent book

I always like K. White's books and this one is so far my favorite. With WWII history and the two women's stories it was sad at times but the ending was uplifting. I felt I could relate to the characters but a few were under developed but it was still a great book for an easy listen.

I really enjoyed the voices they chose for the different points of view. I do highly recommend the author too if you are not familiar.

Wonderful story

I have never missed not being a sister until reading this book. I’m now wonder about all of the relationships, love and drama I’ve missed out on by not having one. This story was beautifully told, the narrator was incredible. I truly enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read another book from this author.

Intriguing, Enjoyable

A good listen from beginning to end. Three different readers for different individuals was not distracting. A reminiscence of WW II and sisters fleeing Hungary helped with my craving of historical fiction.
