Fantastic Series!
This book was so great! I’m so happy that Elie got to marry “the girl”. Christine Feehan is amazing!
I like to re-listen to the whole series when a new book comes out so I’ll remember what was happening. 😁 Narration, as always, was spot on!

Good story, bad sex
I loved the story and always wish we had shadow riders or Carpathians to save the people caught up in the sex trafficking. I am not in to pain with sex so it took a while for me to finish the book. I would listen to something else and come back to it. Some reviewers said the narrator was not good but he is the best for Ms Feehan books

Yes, but…
Very intriguing story. I loved the exploration of BDSM relationships. The intrigue was first rate. However, if we ever had any doubt about what happens in the shadows, we are fed full force here. The number of assassinations as retribution and leveling the playing field left me dismayed. I’m not sure I could suggest effective alternative responses BUT I don’t think my mind is willing to accept this resolution. I won’t give up on CF because the she writes “Romance novels” with body. Still wondering where we go from here. When the good guys only deliver violent endings, should we want them to “win” in the end?

Didn't enjoy this one as much
I enjoy the Shadow Rider stories very much, usually. I found this one more focused on their sex lives and less on the story line. Made me sad. Jim Frangione was excellent as usual.

Another Amazing Book by Christine Feehan
This book has been one I have waited on for what seemed like forever! It was well worth the wait!
