Publisher's summary

Seven deadly sins. Seven souls that must be saved. One more no-holds-barred battle between Jim Heron, a fallen angel with a hardened heart, and a demon with everything to lose.

Isaac Rothe is a black-ops soldier with a dark past and a grim future. The target of an assassin, he finds himself behind bars, his fate in the hands of his gorgeous public defender, Grier Childe. His hot attraction to her is a totally wrong-place-wrong-time kind of thing - and that’s before Jim Heron tells him his soul is in danger. Caught up in a wicked game with the demon who shadows Jim, Isaac must decide whether the soldier in him can believe that true love is the ultimate weapon against evil....

Great Series

What made the experience of listening to Crave the most enjoyable?

J.R. Ward's Fallen Angels series is very good. I expected it to be funnier after reading The Blackdagger Brotherhood, where the angel is hilarious.

Another way of looking at the afterlife

This is book 2 in the series. MUST read in sequential order. If you are a J.R. Ward fan, you will definitely become a huge fan of the "Fallen Angel" series. I can't wait until Sept. 2011 for ENVY to be released.
Angels & Demons, life and death, heaven and hell...Go into this series with an open mind, separating your childhood teachings in Sunday School from fiction. This book series is not meant to prove or disprove ones fundamental beliefs.

What an exciting, erotic, dramatic depiction of how the human race is manipulated by good and evil. I have listened to Both books in this series 3 times. I catch something differently smart and intelligent with each listen. J.R. Ward never adds senseless drivel. What an intelligent writer I find her to be.

I highly recommend this 2 book, soon to be a 3 book series. Eventually, there will be 7 books to cover all 7 deadly sins. A MUST buy. You will be hooked!

Crave: A Fallen Angel's Series

It is a well rounded, learning moment, and also a great many teachable moments for the readers. Understanding the reason and the will of the creator is the very facts of human existence. The foundation of our maker and reason for our human existence, including the need to know why and how we are on earth. Without love and being loved back, we begin to lose our personality and also love for ourselves and others. It equally makes life not worth living for or existing. The choice we are given when it is tough to do so has more impact than we will ever know. Changing the surrounding people, and we will also be our making when our existence counts on that as well as for others. The writer is fascinating the way her mind works and the revelation of the story about the fallen Angels. It is an excellent book and had many valuable teachable moments.

Good enough.

I am a Jr ward fan. Crave was okay. Not as good as covet though. I'm hoping Envy raises the bar. The black brotherhood series still is on top. :D

Captures you!

This was a fun work, but I do wish they would have given us some more clarification on some of the characters in the end.

Meh...

The concept is still good, but I'm not a fan of sexy caveman with sissy decision-making skills. Isaac needed to man up. And we needed more Devina and less hints about Eddie without any come-through. But I still love the story concept. Fallen angels are just a sexy idea.

Crave

I do love a book with a man who has been a black-ops soldier because you KNOW it’s going to be hella good. He is like a ghost I love that he can be there and then poof up in smoke!

The battle between good and evil is in full swing, Jim, Eddy, and Adrian are determined to win but it’s not as easy as it seems.

I loved Grier, and her whole character, she had such a strong will and great head on her shoulders. Her idea’s and determination really make her relationship with Isaac believable.
Davina is one nasty B----------- But I love her character too because is she wasn’t the way she is then the books wouldn’t work.
The ENDING…….

I am really starting to warm up to the narration.
