Cowboy Fairytales: The Complete Collection includes all five romances in this series.
From book one in the Cowboy Fairytales series from a USA Today best-selling author:
A princess on the run finds sanctuary where she least expects it....
After nearly dying in an assassination attempt, Princess Alessandra of Glorvaird escapes to a place no one would ever think to look for her: small-town Oklahoma and a ranch staffed by a herd of woolly, uncouth cowboys. One cowboy in particular gets under her skin, until she sees his softer side. She knows this interlude can’t last forever, but that doesn’t stop her from wishing it might....
Former Navy SEAL Gideon Hale might’ve rescued the princess from freezing to death, but the soldier doesn’t trust easily - or at all - especially when his gut tells him Alessandra is keeping secrets. But as Alessandra begins to fit into his life, he discovers another side to the princess - one that he can’t help but like.
When Alessandra’s enemies close in, Gideon must fight to save the woman who has become so much more than a princess....

I loved the Happily Ever Afters for each princess and prince.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I think I would have to say Gideon Hale is probably my favorite
Have you listened to any of Lara Asmundson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have only listened to her through this series/ collection.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I may have gotten tears eyed at a few points, but no over the top emotions.
Any additional comments?
These stories, the characters were all wonderful to listen to and meet. I enjoy a good fairytale romance story every once in a while and this fit perfectly.
I enjoyed this sweet romance collection and the fairy tale twist each story included! The narration was very good and the stories are great.
The fairytales are reimagined to the point where you have to really think about the plot and characters while reading to connect with the classic fairytales. The three princesses have their stories. Though they are not always believable, they are like fairytales would be so disbelief has to be suspended. The oral performance is well done with different characters created well by the narrator.
If you could sum up Cowboy Fairytales: The Complete Collection in three words, what would they be?
What a sweet, sweet collection of modern-day royal/cowboy fairy tales where the good guys win and eventually get to marry the love of their lives, with cute little kids and a couple of pets. Over 12 hours of delight. EnJoY! I have listening to it over and over again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Favorite Characters? The Beastly Princess Eloise and her Beau Cody
What does Lara Asmundson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
European / royal and cowboy accents!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Eloise and Cody visiting the bakery and meeting one cute little girl! And, of course, their kiss at the beach.
Any additional comments?
Love listening to it again and again.
I have been wanting to read this story for a while; I finally got to "read" by listening to it. There are five stories in this collection. I loved that they were all together, since they have a continuation of the story in each one. The narrator did a good job. I'm glad there was a footnote at the end that gave reference to the conclusion of the collection. I recommend this to anyone that loves romance and fairytales. The fact that it has cowboys makes the story more fun.
This collection of cowboy fairy tales is pretty clever. There were several times I forgot that I was reading a fairy tale, and then went, oh yeah! I even loved the gender bends in some of the stories. Each fairy tale was unique, but they all blended together so well!
Each book flowed seamlessly from one story to the next, and I liked having them all in one collection with the same narrator. Overall I felt like the reader did a good job. There were a few times I felt like her voices of the male characters (especially Gideon) made them sound a little dimwitted. But, seeing as I'm not a professional narrator and she is, I'm not sure I could have done much better.
I'm a big fan of this author and I've enjoyed everything of hers that I've read. This was no different. It's definitely worth a listen. I did feel like the ending didn't wrap up as nicely as I would have liked. There's basically a footnote at the end of the book telling you how to get the conclusion of the story for free. It would have been nice if it had been added to this collection.
Once Upon a Cowboy
After nearly dying in an assassination attempt, Princess Alessandra of Glorvaird escapes to a place no one would ever think to look for her: small town Oklahoma and a ranch staffed by a herd of uncouth cowboys. One cowboy in particular gets under her skin, until she sees his softer side. Former Navy SEAL Gideon Hale might’ve rescued the princess from freezing to death, but the Sailor doesn’t trust easily, especially when his gut tells him Alessandra is keeping secrets. A great read and I want to read more. Navy= Sailor. Air Force= Airman. Army= Soldier. Marine= Marine.
Cowboy Charming 5*
A great twist on a Cinder-story. Ethan has been trying for years to keep his family together, too often at the expense of his own happiness and future. Mia is fun and ready to make her own, serious choices. Ethan deserves so much with everything he went through.
The Toad Prince
Peter is ready to enact revenge on his cousins, who he thinks deserve a sample of the pain he grew up with. McKenna grew up without the love from parents and with disapproving cousins. An unlikely pair, but there is more to McKenna than even she knows. I hope to hear more about the couple from the next book.
The Beastly Princess 5*
Eloise let her disfigurement change her behavior and her self worth. Cody is wonderful and sees past her scars to a young woman looking for a chance. A quick read.
The Lost Princess
Kylie is searching for the missing piece of her life, only she doesn't know what she is looking for. Returning to a place before things went wrong brings Nick back into her life. Fast paced and a return to the sisters and their men. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a series of books all in one audiobook.
It starts with an attempted assassination on a princess. The audiobook contains the stories of the 3 sisters, a half sister, and a cousin. It's well worth the read. I had trouble turning it off it was that good.
Wow, Mrs. Williams! Thanks for the wonderful romance and adventure! From beginning to end I could hardly wait to see what happened next! I highly recommend this series and throughly enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed these 5 Cowboy Fairytales and being able to listen to the books in order. The stories were based on fairytales that we know from childhood. I liked learning about the previous couples and what was happening with them. I think you'll enjoy listening to these stories. Lacy Williams knows how to write the stories to keep you interested. I liked the narration by Lara Asmundson.
