Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Kristen Proby continues to delight the senses with the latest novel in her delectable Fusion series.

As the take-charge wine bar manager of Seduction, Portland's hottest new restaurant, Katrina Meyers is the definition of no-nonsense, and she isn't afraid of anything. Well, almost anything: She hates to fly. When she's forced to travel on a death trap with wings, the turbulence from hell has her reaching for any safe haven - including the incredibly handsome guy sitting next to her.

Ryan "Mac" MacKenzie hasn't been able to get his sexy seatmate out of his head. The way she clung to him stirred something inside him he didn't think existed: tenderness. As the owner of a successful wine touring company, Mac thinks he's got a handle on what life can throw at him, and he's not prepared for any surprises, especially in the feelings department. And when he brings a tour into Seduction, he sees the petite spitfire he just can't forget.

Mac is determined to discover what else they have in common besides fine wine and the inability to keep their hands off each other. But what will it take for two stubborn people to realize that what they have is so much more than a hot chemistry between the sheets and to admit to falling in love?

A SWEET FUSION OF HEART, HEAT, HUMOR & FRIENDSHIP

Kat's business partners/best friends send her off on a wine tasting trip to Napa Valley.. trouble is Kat has never flown before and once on board she becomes a fraught bundle of nerves. Luckily the handsome hottie sitting in the seat next to hers has a very calming influence on Kat and their easy smooth humorous banter soon works its magic. But a very bumpy landing had Kat running for the restrooms as soon as they landed and the only thing she learned about her charismatic saviour was his name.. Mac.

However, Mac had asked all the right questions and knew exactly where the funny intelligent nervous woman who'd so easily captivated his interest was staying and what tour she was attending.. because he was headed there too. And soon Mac and Kat were reunited - tasting more than just the wine offered. Kat was happy, excited and eager for her sexcation (sex + vacation) and neither one was looking for more.. agreeing to a no strings no expectations week. Their chemistry was off the charts, their knowledge and tastes in wine were the same, their sexcapades were combustible as Mac's bossy alpha side soon took charge in the bedroom and their week flew by. But when they returned home and parted ways they would discover they had a lot more in common than sex, wine and memories of a good time.

A very entertaining and enjoyable smooth dual POV storyline that had humor, steam, easy flowing banter, a host of good secondary characters and a slow building romance as two loveable characters, who weren't looking for love or commitments, found both. Mac was swoonworthy, attentive, thoughtful, sexy, rich, dominant in the bedroom, understanding, loyal and a caring son. Kat had colorful inked sleeves, was a member of MENSA, was fun loving and happy, independent and loved her Rocket Scientist parents. But there was family angst and some drama too because Mac's dad had a gambling addiction.. and a large debt owed to some shady men who wanted payment.

Worth a credit? Oh boy YES Kristen Proby delivered a charming story that hooked me right in.. and Sebastian and Abby's wonderful narration brought each chapter to life so it was easy to visualize each and every scene.

Kat & Mac, Kinda Sappy But I Love It

Disclosure up front: Kristen Proby is one of my favorite romance authors plus Sebastian and Abby are two of my favorite narrators and I love this series -- this is just a complete love fest! Now that that's done, this is such a cute, easy going romance even if the heroine is a badass and hero is too good to be true. Mack is the perfect boyfriend, if he had a flaw I didn't recognize it. Kat and Mac are an easy going couple that have lots of hot sex. The five friends are all interesting enough that you want to know about them so I am excited for the next book in the series.

Narrators are absolutely amazing. Abby has one of the best male voices I've heard, I like it even more than her female voices.

Definitely worth the credit. Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

Female voice is horrendous

Would you consider the audio edition of Blush for Me to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version, but I almost stopped listening to the audible version and bought the print version because of the awful female voice. I just couldn't stand it. It was almost a whisper at times and so glottal sounding. It sounded like she was choking. I hope she doesn't do book four or five of this series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blush for Me?

the love story

Would you be willing to try another one of Sebastian York and Abby Craden ’s performances?

Abby's voice was awful in this book. She would definitely have to change up her voice for me to listen to another one of her recordings.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was good.

Amazing...but I'd expect nothing less.

I'm a huge fan of this author. This books was just another hit. I love how there a twist that's unusual to the normal romance climax/drama. I've re-read all Kristen Proby books... this will be another. a million star rating.

Let's toast for Blush for Me

What did you love best about Blush for Me?

I loved Kat and Mac's relationship. Their chemistry, understanding and love was the best of the best. I loved how Mac respected Kat's need of independance, and I loved how Kat gave herself completely to Mac without losing herself. #BestBookoftheSeries

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blush for Me?

I loved when Mac invited Kat to his terrace. Best gift a boyfriend could give to a bookworm.

What about Sebastian York and Abby Craden ’s performance did you like?

Both, Sebastian and Abby did flawless narrations. Sebastian is the master to become the character he's reading, his voice was strong and seductive and protective, just like Mac was. As for Abby, this is my first audio with her and I loved it. I felt really confortable with her voice, the pace was great, the inflexions were very accurate for each character and she nailed it for Kat's character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many moments that made me fall in love with these characters, but I think I'll decide with every moment with all five friends. They are the definition of "Family doesn't end with blood". #FriendshipGoals

Any additional comments?

I loved Blush for Me the first time I read it and I loved it even more with the audiobook. I can't wait for the next book, which will be Raley's story. Awesome book, awesome characters, awesome series.

Mac and Kat

Kat is terrified of flying, but she has to go Napa for vineyard tours for her job as a sommelier. She fearfully boards the plane and sits next to an incredibly handsome Mac. They are both going for the wine tours. They spend their time there together. Returning home they start dating.

Liked the book

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I’m not a prude, however I think there is too much information in the sex scenes and some of the words like “pubic” aren unnecessary.
