Wow! Couldn't stop listening!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommended this book before even finished it. This is a great read that is well written and organized.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is unexpected and nothing is predictable. The whole time I was on edge trying to figure it out. I loved this story.

Which scene was your favorite?

I listen to all in one setting not wanting to put the book down and it actually made me forget to take my lunch break at work. All was really good couldn't press pause for anything.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Fate brings two souls together for an epic love story with hot HOT hot sex. Starts off as an love story of two “broken” people and then many twist later you have a completely different book. Two people who help heal each other.

WOW unexpected twist.

Any additional comments?

This is a horrific story of abuse and after escaping the situation she has to learn how to cope. She seeks refuge in a friend with some unexpected turn of events toward the end of the book you are reading a complete different story of love, healing and everything in between.

Apartment 2B

What was one of the most memorable moments of Apartment 2B?

Another great audio book by this author. I really enjoyed this book and seeing how two people come out of their shell. Liam is Sidney's neighbor in her new apartment. He's very closed off from others since losing his parents a year prior. Amazing story you won't want to miss reading/ listening.

Horror plus romance story

I could have gone without all the erotic scenes, I started fast forwarding through them as they got old soon. Also, If you have a weak stomach this book is not for you.
Aside from that I really liked the mix of horror and romance in this story.
Meghan the narrator was as always spectacular. I really liked the ending, made me tear up.

THIS WAS A GREAT STORY!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Apartment 2B to be better than the print version?

I only listened....but it always is!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Apartment 2B?

Oh there were many, but Sidney stole my heart when she went to apply for the job at the apartments....she was so desperate and broken....I bonded with her right then and there....

Which character – as performed by Meghan Kelly – was your favorite?

Sidney....but second was Liam....The narration is really good...

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would make a great movie....it has a little of everything...

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! THIS IS A GREAT STORY!

**SPOILERS**

I was saddened for Sidney, she was very abused, both mentally and physically by her mother, very sheltered, and under educated....basically was taught she was nothing, that she deserved nothing...that she was unclean, and bad! If I hadn't thought clean mama was horrible enough, I about died when I found out about nurse mama...Such a sad beginning for this poor girl....it broke my heart! She couldn't even stand to be touched by anyone...she would faint, or scratch herself raw, and could only take cold showers because of the abuse she had endured, and had scars all over her body....my heart just went out to her....

When Sidney's mom suddenly dies...she feels free...but then has to support herself. She has little education and has to find a job quickly. She finds one as a caretaker at a rundown apartment complex that gives her room and board and a small salary...she just has to cook and clean and watch over an elderly lady...Sidney meets a handsome stranger living next door to her and she slowly comes to life....Little does she know, that this stranger is really a ghost I was like WHAT? when I found this out...well he has to leave Sidney, and she is devastated! His Twin Brother comes into the picture and when Sidney meets him she is overwhelmed..well she has to convince Lane, that she knew his brother Liam, and he just thinks she is nuts...well in my opinion Liam set these 2 up on purpose knowing that together they would heal each other...This is a dark story with a great HEA and it was narrated quite well by Meghan....and I recommend it! Well worth your time and a credit!!!!

My Two Pennies

Meghan Kelly has this voice that just has you hanging on each and every word spoken and just pulls you in from the very beginning. I love how she separates each character and has you feel their emotions individually. There’s no having to second guess who’s speaking at the moment, you’re just able to visualize the story in your mind and it flows through your ears. As for the story itself, reading the blurb alone I was intrigued and prepared myself for the emotional ride but what we’re given is so much more then I was expecting and I’m speechless. I will not give any any details because you need to find out for yourself but I will say the turn this book took was shocking and torn me apart just to put the pieces back little by little. As more of the background with our mystery man is revealed I was thinking a whole other scenario then what’s presented to us. To finish and just say “that was one helluva story..” this is a must read. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Love this story

I have read this book but when I saw it on Audible, I decided to revisit. I thought the narrator did a pretty great job and at just over 4 hours, this is a quick and engrossing tale.

Performance wonderful

Loved the narrator but found the story missing key details. I Often went back because I thought that I missed something. I enjoyed the twist but would have enjoyed it more with some explanation. Meghan did a wonderful job with the different voices without overdoing it. I always enjoy listening to her.

unuasual story

What did you like best about this story?

the twists in the plot

Have you listened to any of Meghan Kelly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

just as good as normal , Meghan does a great job of bringing the story to life

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes,it was difficult to stop and has a good length for listening in one day.

Any additional comments?

This is an enjoyable and very unusual tale.
It starts off extreemly dark and rather horrifying and then gradually changes into something very different, a lighter romance with twists and mystery , (it's hard to explain without spoilers)
The author does a great job of fitting all this tale into a shortish story (4.44 Hours) without seeming to cut corners at all.

I will warn that it does get rather raunchy in parts .

Great narration (as always) by Meghan Kelly.

I recieved this audiobook free of charge in return for an unbiased review.

a real love story...

I received this audio book as a gift in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. This is a great story! It starts with a background of child abuse and ends up as a love story in a paranormal way. It is very enjoyable and had me glued to my seat listening to this book. I read it in one sitting and it is almost 2 am as I write this review. I loved the ending (epilogue) too!

The author, K Webster did a fantastic job writing this story. The plot is just awesome! I was floored by this book. My advice for people who didn't finish reading it, is try it again. Give it a chance and you will see it is a great story too! If you like the movie "Ghost", you will love this book! The narrator, Meghan Kelly did a fantastic job with the delivery of this story! The multiple voices, accents, emotions - they are all there. I am really impressed with this book!

Fantastic!!

In Apt 2B you will wonder if Sydney is crazy or...maybe it is just her world. But, either way, you will find that love just might be able to make a difference in a hard childhood. The storyline is very good, a bit more graphic at times than I care to listen to, but with Meghan Kelly doing the narration, I listened to every single word. I hated the beginning...because it hurt my heart for someone to be so hurt...but I fell in love with the main characters from the start. Meghan Kelly continues to be one of my favorite narrators because she brings to life the characters, and the narration of the story is told in such a way that I feel I am a fly on the wall watching everything going on. It just doesn't matter if she is voicing for men or women, you know...with their voice...who is who. That is talent I have found with only a few narrators. Plug in and listen...you won't be disappointed!!
