fell flat

it would have been better if it was Robin himself had read it, otherwise it's just a book of jokes read by a boring person.

guess it's very hard to tell a Robin Williams joke

if you're going to repeat a joke you should try to do it the way it was told that's how it's funny sometimes the narrator doesn't use his voice to tell the joke the way Robin would have it's like somebody on Quaaludes telling it a joke or singing in a heavy metal band it just doesn't work and some of Robin Williams best jokes weren't on this list

great jokes

Not so great a delivery of said jokes. For a Robin Williams joke book. You really need someone animated and energetic, not monotone. He did read it well, but you don't read jokes you act out jokes.

Maybe it's a case of should have been there?

Sadly these jokes fell flat, I don't know if it's because of the narrator reading them i a matter of fact tone, or a case of you shold have been there in the moment for them to be funny - maybe a combination of both.

Jokes themselves are good the narrator could have been better

It’s short it’s too point , the narrator isn’t top notch he isn’t bad. As a robin Williams fan , it’s nice hearing his jokes once again

Not a Book

Simple telling of 100 jokes is not a book. I mistakenly thought 100 Greatest Jokes was just the title, not the full extent. 18 minutes does not cover a quarter of my commute, which is the reason for audiles.

Not the voice of Robin Williams

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Should have used the voice of Robin Williams and had his best jokes. I loved Robin Williams and he was a joy to listen to, this was not!

Has Robin Williams' 100 Greatest Jokes turned you off from other books in this genre?

Waste of money to buy this

How could the performance have been better?

Should have used actual comedy from Robin Williams

What character would you cut from Robin Williams' 100 Greatest Jokes?

The narrator

WHAT A GEM! I COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING

If you could sum up Robin Williams' 100 Greatest Jokes in three words, what would they be?

I don't understand how the first reviewer was disappointed that Robin Williams didn't narrated this?!! Duh! Did you miss the words "Narrated by Jack de Golia" under the title? What an idiot! I had a blast listening to this. The Narrator's delivery was spot on and hilarious!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Robin Williams' 100 Greatest Jokes?

Too many to choose from. Every joke was funny!

Which character – as performed by Jack de Golia – was your favorite?

N/A

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last joke (#100).

Any additional comments?

The narrator knocked this out the park. I didn't want the book to end!

I knew what to expect

I knew that this would be a catalogue of 100 jokes, so wasn't too surprised that it was a simple list from 1 through to 100.
I knew it wasn't narrated by Robin Williams so I wasn't surprised the masterful delivery wasn't there.
What was there was a series of jokes that I can recall Williams delivering and, as a person who's always looking to use one-liners - I've been accused of plagiarism, their words not mine (thanks Stewart Francis), then I have a wider encyclopaedia.
Overall, I knew what to expect and can't be disappointed
