Publisher's Summary

This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to overcome rejection.

What is rejection? Why is it so important that we don't get rejected? Many of us will go through our daily lives avoiding rejection because, simply put, it makes us feel bad. Who wants to be rejected, anyway? Most of us have unhealthy mind frames when it comes to dealing with rejection. Most often we avoid it at all costs. People will avoid communicating with people they're interested in, voicing their true opinions, or talking to their bosses about raises or will even change their opinions in order to be accepted. What most of us get over time is a false sense of acceptance from this, when deep down we know that we have compromised this or that in order to be accepted. This is avoiding your true self and is also cheating others out of your true gifts.

Encouraging and inspiring!

Would you listen to Rejection: Dealing with Rejection again? Why?

I listened to this audio book twice and would listen to it again. Linda Roper's narration is very soothing. I came from a childhood filled with rejection which carried on into my adult life. This book has practical steps in overcoming rejection by seeing it as constructive vs. destructive, nudging you to get better at what you strive to do.

Have you listened to any of Linda Roper’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to 5 of Linda's performances and I love them all!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Rejection is not what you think it is!
