Great sequel

It was a great sequel to Innocent Hearts. The performer wasn't terrible but I didn't care for the way she did Vance's voice Jessie and Kate are back in this one but May gets her story here. It's a fun romance.

LOVE, LOVE this book.

Any additional comments?

Excellent Book. I can't say that enough. GREAT story in the history genre. The quality of the audio seems more technical, rather than the narrator. I think Lori Prince does a good job. But the audio itself is a little annoying.

Great story and good narration

I hated it ended so abruptly. I was so engrossed in this book amd the narrator carried it so well. I would have no trouble suggesting it to a new reader or audio fan.

Great Sequel To A Great Book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I read Promising Heart a while ago and was hoping that it'll go to audio. I wasn't disappointed.

What did you like best about this story?

The love between Mae and Vance and Jessie and Kate. I also was happy to see that Kate's mother finally accepted her and Jessie's love for each other.

What about Lori Prince’s performance did you like?

She was good, but I had to speed up the pace a bit because her reading was a bit slow.

Who was the most memorable character of Promising Hearts and why?

Mae. She was always my favorite character. I just wish there was more of a back story on her.

Any additional comments?

A good story with some good narration. I hope that Radcylffe would write more like this. I am tired of the same old same and something fresh and new would be nice.

Awesome Duo

Radcliff and Lori Prince nailed it. I love thus story and was heartbroken when it ended. Lori Prince is amazing at putting the characters voices into play. The Kate and May narration were some of the best I have heard, she makes easy to see and feel exactly what is happening. Great book all the way around.

She's Done it again

My goodness Radclyffe is a writing treasure! Wrong about the Wild West my goodness AND with a deep story line that is so good -- I want a sequel!! The reader was good as well and I just love the characters and town -- this is another blockbuster from my favorite writer! Keep me coming Radclyffe Even though it was written in 2006 -- Radclyffe is a writing ass! Loved this book! Want more!! Keep up the good work!

Decided Against

On a whim I listened to Innocent Hearts and really enjoyed it, the narration and quality. Thought I would continue the story to see what happens next with this one Promising Hearts. However, the echo throughout and the added hiss was an unfortunate turn off and the narration didn't draw me in enough to get beyond it. With those elements and it not being the narrator I enjoyed so much for the first book in the series, I decided to return it and gift the credit instead.

Entertaining story Bad sound

The story was entertaining until the end. The ending seemed like Radclyffe became sick of writing and ended it quickly.
My issue with the audiobook was the poor sound. It sounded like the narrator was either in a tunnel or speaking in a cone. The echo was irritating
