Publisher's summary

Zoey Cohen spent a lifetime learning to hide disappointment and loss behind a mask of unshakeable calm and control, even when her longtime friend-with-benefits lover moves on for true love.

Declan Black returns to Philadelphia Medical Center after an accident costs her the life she’d built and her career. She’s resolved to protect herself from ever being vulnerable to past mistakes by rebuilding her life around her new role as an ER attending, and that life does not include love.

Zoey will never accept second place in matters of the heart, even when her rival is a career, and Dec has nothing left to give - of herself or her heart. Sometimes change is a force more powerful than will.

Emotional, Messy, Real

As always Radclyffe writes the dynamics of a closely knit group of friends, colleagues, and lovers in such a genuine and believable way that the reader can’t help but feel all the things. The characters are so complex and likable that you quickly become vested and are always left wanting to know more. I hope this series continues!

Kiera Grace didn’t narrate the first book in this series, but even though I listened to them back to back, she does such a great job that the transition is nearly seamless. You find yourself so quickly immersed in the narrative that the narrator goes unnoticed, which is the mark of a great narrator in my opinion!

Matters Of The Heart.

Zoey Cohen is starting her last year of medical school and it starts with a seven car accident with lots of victims. Declan Black has returned after a car accident cost her her life as a surgeon. She a new ER attending and spent a her first day managing the chaos of the ER. Neither Declan nor Zoey are open to matters of the heart but plans often go awry. Great performance and series.

I loved the book, the audio was okay

I’ve loved this series, but this narrator just doesn’t work for me. I’m sure she lovely but the voices have changed from the first book to the last, so it lost some it’s flow for me.

Another Cookie Cutter Classic.

I love Radclyfee but I really wish that she would do something more original. It's always the same. Two women with past issues, meet; they fight their attraction; get together for one night of great sex, then HEA. And lets not forget the cameos. Still, out of all the series that Radclyfee has done, the PMC series is my favorite so it'll never give it less than three stars no matter what.

Same story,different name

The same storyline has been told too many times and previous books have done it better.

Series

This was another enjoyable book in the series. It can be read alone, but I recommend starting from book one, so you can enjoy many of the character’s story progression.

Another excellent book of Radclyffe

I am always on the look out for a Radclyffe book, especially if it is a doctors’ book. And this one was as great as her other books. Loved it. Loved the main characters.
I would have loved though another narrator....
