Another Great Performance

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review with my honest opinions. 

This was another great performance by the narrator, who did a great job of portraying the characters and events from the book.

Progress, questing, less fucking, more thinking.

this book is more about character progression and choices. there are less erotic stuff in this book, and more questing in here.

i like how the author write smart way for the character the win the obstacles, and win it with all her sexy skills.

i no longer read this as an erotic novel, but a RPG novel with some erotic element. which is very well thought and interesting.

both the story and the characters progress. good read.

the book no longer discuss how the character is against his female body anymore. he seems to accepted his female character. my personal preference is have the character be conscious and embarrassed by his female body all the way. well, that is just my preference.

This one wasn't as sexy as the first one in my opinion, but I think it might have been funnier. I enjoyed listening to the actual story but, you know, you listen to a book like this for sexy time and I think there were only two scenes at the level expected. Not a bad thing, I guess. More focus on story, and the class changes were interesting, along with the final transformation/unlock. I think I see this series differently now and might change my rating after book 3.

“Pleasure Bound” continues the tale of Lacey the Courtesan. Lacey, aka Kromgorn the Barbarian who is trapped in the female character Lacey due to a server hack orchestrated by the dastardly Lich-Lord, Beardemin. The story chronicles Lacey’s rise in power to help her trapped friends, along with her sexual escapades. The progression of Lacey’s Courtesan-Mesmer class is quite amazing. Considering my history of gaming and online MMORPG experience I found myself recollecting my old online game days, while quite immersed in the story. I also must admit I haven’t laughed so much in quite some time. The banter and many of the situations with the halfling Erlix were just too funny. Obviously, I enjoyed this second volume of the series, and I look forward to the third. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great continuation!

The first book was an epic adventure, and this continues that adventure full force! Such an awesome pov concept, not to mention absolutely hilarious! Can’t wait for part 3!

Fun and Addictive Adventure

This is a fun and addictive adventure. I would love to experience a virtual world like this (and I'm not even a gamer) but I would be afraid of getting trapped in it. I'm enjoying the progression of Lacy and her abilities. Like the previous one, this isn't a finished story, but it doesn't end on a cliffhanger, either.

The narrator did a great job as well. His voice is pleasant and the production quality is great. I can understand every word and tell the characters apart.

I look forward to listening to the next audiobook.

even better than the 1st book

After the first book was so enjoyable, I eagerly jumped on the next book. I liked that this one was a little longer and dug deeper into game mechanics and the MMORPG world. I liked the added real world drama to the story line. The narration continues to be great and really brings the story to life. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I just hope it comes out soon.

2nd book better than the first!

I love it when the series take good story ideas and develop on them more. That is what this book just did. It provided much more depth to the world than book 1. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

2nd installment in a kinky twist on LITRPG

I must admit that as an avid LITRPG fan I was surprised by this series. It was definitely outside my normal Listening Comfort zone. That being said I immensely enjoyed it. The twists on the classics and the exploitation of the game mechanics in leveling up are both outlandish and hilarious in their unique applications. I laughed quite a bit. The scenes can be quite vividly described so not for young ears. Our hero/heroine is back and discovering just how powerful a character a courtesan can be. Possibly even unique in the gaming world in terms of powers and abilities. New friends new foes and many new positions abound in this tale.
