Winnifred "Win" McNulty has always been wildly independent. Not one to be coddled for her limb difference, Win has spent most of her life trying to prove that she can do it all on her own. And, with some minor adjustments, she's done just fine.

I love this book it's such a good read and listen. Narrator did awesome. Just such a good book

Story

I love a well-written story and this is one of them. It gives readers/listeners like me an opportunity to learn about life for people with different abilities. It’s also funny, contemporary and romantic. I fell in love with Beau. Great narration, which made the story come alive.

So Sweet!!

This book is simply lovely. Loved Bo, the sweetest book boyfriend ever!! Perfect narrators and a beautiful end to a beautiful story!!

True love story

Winn + Beau = FOREVER! I truly think this story was told so elegantly, intimately & with such care! I am someone who does NOT read pregnancy trope because I’ve struggled with loss & infertility. But I made an exception for THE Hannah Bonam Young! After reading the Next series I thought I’d give it a chance & I am sooooo happy I did! Young write with such vulnerability & such hope that you root for the characters from day 1! I’m so happy I read Out On A Limb! 🤍🥹✨

What a refreshing story!

This book was by a new to me author and narrator and I am so glad I tried something new! This is a surprise pregnancy trope which aren't always my favorite but this one really handled it well. It was refreshing to see an author writing characters with physical handicaps who were incredibly capable and mostly self assured in spite of those handicaps. The characters were very well developed, likable and relatable and you were rooting for them to find their HEA from the get-go. The one-night stand turned oops notwithstanding, this was a relatively slow burn romance and included just the right amount of spice for this story, not closed door but not super steamy either.

Victoria Connolly is a new to me narrator and I was thoroughly impressed with her performance. I generally prefer dual or duet narration but with the entire book from the heroine's POV it made perfect sense to just have one narrator. Victoria's male voice is incredible and I found myself forgetting that it was just one person performing this book. She kept me engaged and emersed in the book so much that I didn't want it to end. I am hopeful to find many more books with this up and coming narrator.

So good !!

This book has so much heart !! It is a feel good tale of finding your person while navigating a lifetime of insecurity and some new challenges along the way. Wim and Bo are so supportive of each other and their compassion for the other is the stuff dreams are made of. This book left me smiling and reflective and I highly recommend it.
