Publisher's summary

Talented chef Meg Delaney hasn't spoken to her cheating ex-fiancé, Matt Midland, for two years. Ditching him at the altar after blurting out "I can't" instead of "I do" would sour any relationship. But now, just as Meg is finally ready to bury the hatchet, she learns closure is permanently off the menu. And the kicker? Matt's brother, Kyle, is back in her life, stirring up feelings that are equal parts guilt and lust.

Meg was the best thing that never happened to Kyle. He couldn't make a move on his brother's girlfriend - even if Matt didn't value her nearly enough. The situation is even more complicated now that Meg's bestselling aphrodisiac cookbook has spawned a legal battle with the Midlands. Maybe he should stay away. But love, like family, plays by its own rules. And the one woman he shouldn't want might be the only one who's perfect for him.

Couldn't put it down. A must for your TBR

Loved the characters in this book and the struggles they have gone through in their own way over the past decade. To watch Kyle and how he tried to ignore Mel for that long only to find out his love for her still is there. Mel feeling somewhat lost after realizing the man she walked out on at her wedding has now died and his brother is the one who should be off limits makes her realizes that things aren't always as they seem. I highly recommend this to see the trials and tribulations they go through to get their HEA

Okay story, great narrator

I disagree with others - I like this narrators tones and voice. She did her best but the writing was only so/so. First, I would never stand for a guy who didn't take my side in any battle. That doesn't bode well for future run ins with his family or in life which are bound to occur. Someone who is your soul mate should be in your corner, especially given the circumstances here. Second, while I disliked the plot between the main character and her love interest, here's what I did like: the characters themselves were well developed, the secondary characters and pets even more so -they kept me engaged when I wanted to scream at the heroine and hero. The plot moved nicely through time and honestly through difficult topics like grief and divorce. Hot love scene and interactions. Worth a listen or read but can't get behind a plot that I ultimately disagree with.

Disappointed in lack of heroine’s backbone

At first I was slightly put off by the hero’s attitude toward the heroine and how he sided with the antagonist. But then, the heroine repeatedly fails to stick up for herself and ends up giving in to not only the unfounded financial demands of the antagonist’s family but also @@SPOILER@@ falls for the hero who has proven to be a huge jerk.
Just kind of annoyed by a few of the choices that caused this book to miss the mark for me.
Good points: it was funny and Tawna Fenske’s writing style continues to hit it out of the park.

Great Read

Now That It's You was a great read by Tawna Fenske. Meg Delaney is a talented chef that hasn't spoken to her ex fiance Matt Midland for two years. She found out he cheated on her and ditched him at the altar. She is ready to bury the hatchet but learns that closure will never happen. Matt's brother, Kyle, is back in the picture stirring up feeltings of guilt and lust. Even though Meg was the best thing to happen to Kyle, he knew he couldn't make a move on his brother's girlfriend. Unfortunately Meg's bestselling aphrodisiac cookbook has created a legal battle with the Midland's. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

What a fun read that really keeps you interested

It is hard to think of much of anything that would be worse than finally getting the strength to face your ex and forgiving him for cheating than to go visit him at the hospital and find out he die then you have to face his whole family. I really liked how the author makes the reader feel sorry for so many people and then makes us laugh and smile. It was a very enjoyable listen that I will enjoy listening to again.

Teri Schnaubelt did an outstanding job on narration she puts so much emotion into her audios. You could really feel what each character was feeling as she almost brings you to tears in the heartbreaking story of a past love that went wrong to an old friend that could be more. I loved how she showed the humor as well as the sorrow it really pulls on your heart. Her tones are even and smooth with no high or low volume just a smooth even voice with lots of emotions. I really enjoy listening to her and could listen to her voice all day. She has wonderful character voices it easy to tell who was talking and what they were feeling. The males had rich deep tones and the women had wonderful sexy tones. There were no background noise, no repeating or wording or any volume changes and if a break was taken you could not tell. She gives you a rich sexy read that at times will make you laugh. She knows how to hook her listener pulling them in giving a very enjoyable listen.

I enjoyed the characters, how the story played out keeping us guessing on something, making us cheer at other times and breaking our hearts when we know these two really do care about the other but so much stands in their way. The twists and turns kept it very interesting making this a page turner. I loved how Kyle comes clean even though he knows it will tear them apart. I really could feel his pain as well as Meg’s. His mother is something else as well as his brother’s girlfriends. I loved the passion and the love scenes they really came to life. It really was a great listen that kept me laughing at times.

The heroine is a doormat

I am not sure what to say. The premise is that the heroine is a doormat who guilt trips herself into paying for everything that should not have fallen on her. She accepts all blame by the hero’s family. They treat her like gum on the soles of their shoes for something she had every right to do and she takes it and asks for more. The hero sets her up several times and betrays her, but once again, she accepts every apology. I am not sure if I could deal with someone so empathetic that she stomps herself into the dirt, she does not need anyone else to do it for her. I could not relate. I think half the time I was yelling at her to stand up for herself.

Some tears, some drama, and loads of laughs!

4.5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!!

You just gotta love Kindle Unlimited! And throw in narration and you have one pretty happy book whore on your hands. Especially when said book whore discovers new-to-me authors and storylines that are fresh and different from what is out there. It was and enjoyable read with some tears, some drama, and loads of laughs.
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me on my toes and had me hooked from page one. The narrator hooked me even more and I ended up listening more than and I did reading. She really brought the characters to life and I felt I connected more listening rather than reading.
I will be on the lookout for more books by Tawna Fenske.

Must read

A beautifully written book that hooked me from the start and kept me on the edge of my seat. Tawna does an amazing job of bringing in details to make you truly see and feel the scenes. Characters were well developed and it was an inspiring read.

Meh.

I just couldn't get into the main characters.
I rarely put down a book once started, but this one just bored me.
However, the narrator was doing an amazing job.
